Set in a peaceful, tranquil, and lush wooded setting, yet close to exciting beach towns! Perfect for making great family memories spring, summer, fall and winter.
For a relaxing beach day, West Side County Park and Pier Cove Park beaches (just a few stairs) are just a short drive away! Our home features a contemporary, beach themed interior and a private wooded outdoor area for everyone to enjoy. This is a great vacation home to make your annual family memories happen. There is a fire pit in the large back yard for you to enjoy the evenings with your family, also a great place for your favorite lawn game. This vacation home is just minutes away from all of your favorite "things to do!" Saugatuck Sand Dune Buggy rides, Fenn vinyards, blueberry farms, Cranes orchards, Virtue Cider, Kal-Haven Trail and so much more. Take a short bike ride into Glenn to enjoy breakfast at CJ's Corner Cafe or pizza at The Glenn Store! There is plenty to do right in and near Glenn, from beaches, shops, restaurants, wineries and parks! You can also check out live music, weekly, at the "What Not Inn". The city of Glenn is located between Saugatuck (Oval Beach) and South Haven (North and South Beaches) and all that these great beachtowns have to offer. Shopping, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, fishing, bicycling and more. Holland is also a short drive from Glenn, where you can experience the Netherlands of the 1800's, in 10 acres of authentic Dutch architecture, canals, windmills and spectacular gardens at Nelis' Dutch Village. Attend the world famous tulip festival, a neighborhood art fair, or downtown farmers market with all local produce. You will find something for the whole family to enjoy, no matter what their ages. Holland has something for everyone. From their award-winning downtown, to the white sandy beaches, you will fall in love with Holland's small town charm and big city amenities.
Professionally decorated and recently remodeled, our cottage is set in a very private forest with a large front deck overlooking a well landscaped yard. Perfect for your morning coffee or reading your favorite book. Fall colors are just spectacular! Upper level includes a full kitchen, dining room, half bath, large living room with a sleeper sofa and the front deck. Main floor offers two bedrooms, bedroom one includes a queen bed, and bedroom two offers (2) bunk beds, both are twin over twin. Washer and dryer room and full bathroom completes the main level.
There is a "bunk house" located in the front yard that has 2 twin camping style bunk cots. This is the perfect place for your adventurous kids to camp out! Just bring your sleeping bags. The bunk house has electricity with a ceiling fan and space heater!

FYI.....Our community has a private neighborhood beach. Access is at the end of Charles St. It does have a high bluff with a very nice overlook deck to view the fabulous sunsets and a 100 step staircase down to beach. Lake Michigan level has fallen almost 3 feet since the high water mark of 2020. This means that our beach is back! Cheers, Stu

Summary: The house was perfect for our family vacation! It was extremely clean and well stocked with linens, dishes and paper products. It was a very peaceful setting - we really enjoyed sitting on the deck for meals or just relaxing. We had a wonderful time!

Summary: The cottage is in a quiet, beautiful area only a short walk to Lake Michigan. We visited Holland and Saugatuck and the driving time was very reasonable. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed.

Summary: This property delivers on every level and has earned all of the 5 star ratings. Beautiful quiet neighborhood and yet so close to the beach. Easy access to the highway and close to many activities without having to live with summer crowds & constant traffic. Fully equipped with everything you need, clean and well maintained. Others have commented on the excessive amount of “instructional” signage posted (even inside the kitchen cupboards) that detracts from a homelike experience. Perhaps previous irresponsible guests have made this necessary but we’ve never seen this at any other VRBO property. The elevated deck is a great lookout for the dog to safely observe the numerous deer and other wildlife we saw thru the week. Would return for another visit without any hesitation.

Summary: We had a great stay on our way to pick up our daughter from camp. House is close to saugatuck and south haven without being right in the hustle and bustle. The house was great. Only thing we could’ve used was a baby gate to prevent our one year old from wanting to play on the stairs. Overall great!

Summary: Enjoyed a quick getaway here, my friend and I enjoyed the seclusion - trees and dirt roads, but also how close it was to local towns, so we could get out and back very easily.

Summary: This was our second annual visit to this property. We love the semi-private seclusion of the neighborhood and the proximity to the beach (5 minute walk) is unbeatable and offers an easy option for great views of the lake. The location is great as it is only about 15 minutes from Saugatuck or South Haven, and just up the road the Glenn Store has just about anything you could need (including great pizza!). The property has all the amenities you would expect from a lake house, we always enjoy sitting out by the fire making s'mores. This is a great property for a family or small group to stay at, and we are already looking forward to our next visit!
