From the east bank of the Little Colorado River, together you'll eagerly climb the steps to your cozy escape from the world. Perched near the base of the mountain side, the relative elevation of this cabin provides extra privacy and sweeping views of the lush Red Setter grounds and the river as it meanders by.
The open concept studio floor plan features a bedroom area with a luxurious king bed, a sofa sleeper in the sitting area with cozy gas fireplace, and a small kitchen that features a stove, oven, microwave, and table for two. The large, view windows and vaulted ceiling create an airy, romantic ambiance, letting in beautiful natural light at all the right angles.
The spacious bathroom features a large jetted tub for two and separate walk-in shower.
An open loft has a queen bed and can only be accessed via a ladder. The ladder does slide out so that the climb is not straight up. Please note that the loft is unlikely to be a place that two adults would find sufficiently spacious. We ask that no children under the age of 12 years are permitted in the loft.
For your entertainment, the cabin features a 46″ HDTV with DIRECTV® and a Blu-ray DVD player and free password secured Wi-Fi access.
From the cabin's small deck relax with your camera and a good book, or enjoy the views while grilling up steaks, burgers and fish on the gas BBQ.
Guests have access to the Red Setter's entire four-acre private grounds, which offer prime access to fishing, hiking, wildlife and bird watching, or just relaxing with a camera and a book. Horseshoe pits and fire rings offer opportunities for memorable fun with the entire gang.
This cabin is located at the Red Setter on Main Street at the south end of the village of Greer, and is within walking distance to most of Greer's restaurants, shops, and most adored hiking paths.

Summary: It was great to relax all weekend in the mountains. It snowed on Thanksgiving when we arrived. This cabin has a cute loft area and an electric fireplace that keeps you warm and cozy! Definitely will be back!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Alpine River Loft. We loved the cabins coziness and it was perfect for our family of 4 and so close to restaurants and the skin resort.

Summary: Great cabin, location great, clean. For the price it just needs a bit of love, wood floors either need some new varnish or some throw rugs but we actually got splinters a couple times from the floors. There was only 1 lamp on a side table in the sitting area, making it tough to read, unless you were sitting at the kitchen table or in bed. No cocktail table to put a drink on, just a couch on the middle of the room. The oven door handle is coming off. It is a great cabin, but needs some love.
