1 Bedroom Cabin in Checotah

Tiny house located just feet from Canadian River. Just 2 1/2 miles off i40, and 5 minustes to lake Eufaula Lake. Fire pit and outdoor seating. Please note we have two lots on the river and two cabins. The yard is shared. LIke many lake communities some houses are not well maintained. The houses on the water are better maintained.

Summary: It was a nice little spot but if you're looking for a nice quite place to enjoy, it is dependent on the neighbors not coming in and out all night with a loud truck.

Summary: The host went above and beyond to help me after I made a mistake on my reservation, and responded to us when we rolled in after 8pm and had a hard time finding the place in the dark. We love staying in affordable, cozy cabins, and this place so far is our favorite! I loved the decor, and the perfectly stored amenities, and my husband loved the view of the water. Absolutely a big bang for your buck!

Summary: This was an awesome stay. The only thing I would recommend is extra towels, better shower head and fix that water in the shower going from hot to cold. I absolutely enjoyed it overall and the owner was amazing!!

Summary: This cabin was perfect for my needs. The bed was absolutely amazing. Walking out back in the morning was very nice…the morning fog coming off the river! I bet it is beautiful when everything blooms. The only thing l would suggest is get there in daylight hours cause it was very hard to find. I would suggest maybe a sign at the entrance of the street. Also some permanent stairs in front and back!! Other than those two things everything was perfect.

Summary: My husband and I settled in nicely at this cabin. There’s a good view of the river from the cabin’s patio and glass door. We did not get to use the fire pit because of rain, but it appeared functional. There are at least 3-4 sweet neighborhood dogs that will greet you as you go in and out of the fenced in property- we found it to be a nice surprise as animal lovers! Inside, the bed has a comfy topper on it that allows you to just sink right into it, so we also enjoyed that as well after walking around all day. Our only gripe is the shower that seemed to fluctuate between hot and cool every 25ish seconds, but it was doable for our brief 2 night stay. All in all, a relaxing, affordable place to be in.
