This cozy getaway has a large family room with cathedral ceiling and beams. Leather recliners and matching leather sofa surround a wood-burning fireplace. There are3 bedrooms with a loft, and a private deckthat wraps around to a covered porch just off the kitchen. It has a built-in charcoal grill plus a propane powered gas grillon the covered porch so you can enjoy grilling on a rainy day. It has a Barefoot Hot Tub with a lounger and tons of jets. Enjoy a Breathtaking Sunrise in privacy. Our properties have been on Airbnb for 6years now and we have stellar reviews.
IT IS A SMOKE FREE AND PET FREE HOME.
We have quite a bit of land that overlooks the Arkansas River Valley. It's a nice walk in the evenings to catch the sunset
It's not suitable for small children because of the spiral staircase and small steps from the kitchen to the living room as well as the sunken fireplace area. Also, NO SMOKING in the home.
Other things to note
We are adjacent to 2 golf courses with one being Eagle Crest which is on the Natural State Golf Trails. Alma is home to A to Z which has several stores in one area from Gifts and more, furniture, sporting goods, fashions and tools. The Arkansas Missouri Excursion Train is just 10 minutes away. Our area has many hiking trails along with waterfalls and you can canoe the Mulberry River. You can stroll down Historic Van Buren and Fort Smith and visit the Hanging Judge Parkers Courthouse. You can also Step Back into the 1920's & Tour the Ozarks on the Scenic Excursion Train in Van Buren. We are also close to wine country. There are 4 winery's within minutes. Our area has something for everyone.
We also have a Dollar Store 1 mile away for your convenience as well as a Walmart Supercenter and Harps in Alma.
**It’s a 3 bedroom 2 bath. No air mattresses. Seeping on living room furniture not allowed for extra guest. NO CONSTRUCTION WORKERS IN THUS UNIT. We have other units available

Summary: Beautiful home, cozy furnishings, well-manicured outdoor surroundings, and refreshingly NICE owner (shoutout to Brenda) whose prompt communication was appreciated. This home was just what my sisters, along with our husbands, were looking for. We loved the quiet atmosphere of the outdoors and the comfort of all being able to be together in one home. When disaster struck, and a storm damaged the home, Brenda immediately found different accommodations for our group. Therefore, we were not able to complete our stay in this home. I hope to return to Alma and stay in the newly renovated home some day in the future.

Summary: Quick family weekend away with some RZR riding and trail hiking. This home was centralized to everybody and to our location for activities. If you are looking for a unique home with character, history, charm, and a view this is your place. Built in 1976 it has some great features and beautiful stone work! I will say that for a family with little children this is not for you. The metal spiral staircase, the drop living-room and dropped down fire place would be a little dangerous for little ones. However, if you don’t have little ones and want a country setting this is for you! Bedrooms are BIG and there is just lots of room! The back porch has a beautiful view and the hot tub is PERFECT! Not to mention the owners of this property! I have not met them but they are definitely people I would want to invite over for dinner. Wonderful communication and they just take care of everything!!!

Summary: Starting our day with a cup of coffee outside was so comfortable, beautiful, and relaxing. We saw a fox and several deer everyday which encouraged us to sit outside and visit, hoping to see more while we enjoyed the scenery. The hot tub got a lot of use, we loved it. We felt very much at home and enjoyed our stay. We attended a family wedding nearby and had family from Joplin drop by to visit. I wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Summary: Our family of four stayed at River Chase Whitetail Haven for a relaxing Thanksgiving, and it did not disappoint! We were greeted by deer in the driveway and it was easy to settle in. Even though the beautiful view was mostly obscured by the rain we had, it was still incredibly cozy and cleared up enough for us to use the relaxing hot tub. We had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal and all of us were comfortable in our beds. There was lots of outdoor lounging space (both covered and open) and plenty of room for us at the dinner table and around the tv too. The internet was fast and allowed streaming but did blink out occasionally; however, it would only go out for a few minutes and then come back on by itself so it didn't bother us much. There are lots of stone stairs everywhere though, so if you have mobility issues or small children, you should take that into consideration. We loved the design of the house though! Any questions we had the owner responded promptly. I highly recommend this property!

Summary: Was very nice, we enjoyed our stay. House was amazing and had everything we needed. Hot tub was an added bonus, wish it wasn’t under burn ban time of our stay been nice to enjoy hot tub then had a fire. Would def stay there again when in the area!!!! Summary: GPS got us directly to the property without issue. The host’s directions helped us find the driveway, without having to circle back around. Check-in was a breeze and the space was very comfortable. Everything was clean and ready for use as soon as we arrived. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, so we all slept well (not always easy away from home). The hot tub was definitely the key feature for us and we spent every morning and evening in it. It did feel/smell pretty heavily chlorinated, so recommend a rinse after. We also enjoyed the provided Keurig and complimentary coffee - we did buy additional pods at the store. The kitchen had a large stock of high quality pans and pots for cooking, which was a nice plus. Would not recommend the property for young kids as there were lots of levels and narrow stairs. The main floor shower was also challenging to get into, it’s a tub but the sides are steps so you have to step “down” into it without a rail or guide. Not major, but could be a challenge for less mobile guests. There were a lot of flying insects around the property, including wasps. Not a host issue (no way to control it in the woods/country), so more of just a general FYI if that is a concern/issue. All in all, I rated everything 5 stars. The property isn’t truly remote as 2 other properties are in view, but you are far enough away to have quiet and privacy. Loved the cabin feel, even though the decorations aren’t my typical style. Would definitely return and relax again.
