A charming family cottage for visitors that enjoy the soft meandering of the river. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, running or cycling. Or, relax with a book on the porch while enjoying the sound of the water and nature. The cottage was built in 2015 and has many modern conveniences.
There is a small café in Maynard about 15 minutes away & a Walmart & grocery store in Pocahontas Arkansas 30 minutes away.
The master suite has a view of the river with a master bath that includes a separate shower and whirlpool tub. In addition, it has two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom on the main level and three bedrooms and a spacious bathroom below. Two living rooms 3 fireplaces and a large dining table are all included.
Two Kayaks are available to rent for your stay for $100.

Summary: The cottage is beautiful. Plenty of room for our family vacation. We brought 2 kayaks as well as rented 2 from the property owner to float down the Current River. The home is very close to the river and also includes a playground for the children. A perfect getaway for a family vacation.

Summary: Everything about this rental was perfection :) we had such an amazing family float trip and enjoyed the stay with family ranging In ages 01 - 82. The listing doesn’t do justice to the property - and the owner is super kind, informed and helpful!! We’ll be back next year!

Summary: The pictures do not do it justice. It's even more beautiful! The downstairs was perfect for all the young adults. Multiple outdoor spaces to spread out!! Definitely going back!

Summary: The home was beautiful! So much detail was put into the house. There were so many beds available, so it was perfect for our large group. The kids enjoyed the basement. The whole family enjoyed the outside space. We had fun floating up and down the river.

Summary: This property has very spacious bedrooms with beautiful decor, plenty of outdoor visiting areas. Plenty of parking space and access to the river is great. Downsides are the unwelcome feel we had as soon as we walked in. The list of house rules including “no shoes allowed inside” and “no food anywhere but kitchen” were reiterated constantly through texts from the host and posted multiple places through the property. This included the threat of extra fees if the rules were broken. I’m not sure if previous people have trashed the place so maybe these rules were put in place because of that but it still didn’t make us feel at home. The kitchen wasn’t well stocked with needed dishes including a cutting board, mowing bowls, or working coffee maker or trash bags, and the one large pot leaked when we tried to use it. When I messaged the host she had us break a locked cabinet to retrieve trash bags. The jacuzzi tub couldn’t be used the first day because the drain didn’t seal, the host brought a plug, but the hot water heater wasn’t adequate to fill the tub with warm water. One of the bed frames collapsed when my parents were laying on it, and a frame piece fell out of the bottom of a kitchen bench I was sitting on. Even though things were beautiful, the furnishings must be really cheap. The mosquitos were completely out of control so we couldn’t sit outside- even with bug spray on. As it was we got bit all night long in our bedrooms (I have bug bites on my eyebrows, sides of my face, and all over my arms) and mosquitos were even in the bathrooms. We spent a lot of time smashing them. This isn’t the host’s fault but I thought others should know to come prepared. The wifi was non-existent downstairs and kind of shotty upstairs. I hate giving this place only 3 stars because I’ve never done that but I really think I need to be honest and fair with my review.
