Summary: Every amenity, every convenience of home is here. Check-in was seamless; home was stocked with everything you can possibly need, including things not listed in the description (e.g., board games, chess set). The backdrop of the river was beautiful - also having a bedroom with a river view on the main level was an extra perk for my parents. I can't think of anything I would have changed.

Summary: I felt the description of the property was spot-on. We had some minor glitches with the property but the owner/property manager took care of them immediately. Most importantly, it was a very comfortable place to recover from the stresses of the family wedding that we had attended.

Summary: Picturesque property! My family really enjoyed themselves. All the modern conveniences are included with the home. Everything was very clean and neat. Property manager/owner was very nice and accommodating! Five Stars all around!

Summary: Family Room was impressive with 3 motorized recliners in an 'L' shaped couch and 2 leather recliners located in a bay window. Very comfortable. Outside table with sun shade, adequate chairs both on the patio and the dock area. Large gas grill with spare propane tanks.

Summary: We rented this for our daughter's wedding. It had plenty of space and was perfect. Beautiful views to wake up to. It was a great stay and would do it again.

Summary: The Harrison House was beautiful, homey and full of comforting touches - soft rugs in almost every room and a soft throw on the large circular couch. The open concept was perfect for family time together and offered an amazing view of the James River. The first morning we were greeting on the dock by a bald eagle and almost every evening a stunning sunset. Our visit was just at the start of leaves changing and I can only imagine how stunning the area would be at peak. Amy was easy to reach and quick to answer all questions.

Summary: We loved staying in this beautiful home. We had three boys ages 11 to 14 with us as well as another couple. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. There is a first bike camp down the road which the husbands and boys loved. Upper Shirley Vineyards is down the road as well and it amazing! We caught fish off the dock and the boys loved tubing on the river behind our jet ski. Amy was wonderful to work with and she went out of her way to make sure we were able to have an amazing trip! I highly recommend her home to anyone who wants to relax in a beautiful residence on the river! We can’t wait to go back!

Summary: Home was perfect for couples. Everything worked, AC blew cold on hot humid days and beds were comfortable. The owner was a text away and very responsive. Location of property was perfect for exploring toward the ocean or inland. Restaurants and stores within 10 minutes of property. Definitely a score and if back in area will stay here again without hesitation.
