Positive: I liked the peace and calm in this stay. Its a bit tough to locate, but the owner reached out ahead of time and provided instructions. The property is well maintained and staff was courtious and helpful.

Negative: Price was a bit hiked for the facilities they provide. Food options were limited and costly. Some long term tenants were using common area to dry their cloths which comoletely ruined the look and peace provided by the property. There is no safety measures, and kids could easily get in to the water if not careful.

Positive: The location was beautiful. The lawn and hammock space is well laid out. Sambath, the caretaker, is a friendly host and took care of our needs. It’s more beautiful than the pics on line.

Negative: The property requires some capital investment to upgrade its furniture and fittings within the building. Just be aware that there is a strip of land in front of the property across the waters that’s operated by the Taj and they do not respect the local community or spacing. They had hosted an event that was very loud and disturbed the entire ecosystem around. P.S. River Loom is a serene space.

Positive: It is situated by the backwaters. Close to the main road and Taj Green Cove. Sampath, the property manager is very helpful.

Negative: The room was not ready when I checked in. Cleanliness post room being ready was not up to the mark. There was dust and hair all across the room. Not to mention a slightly musty smell.

Positive: A wonderful stay. I went to the beach in the early morning to swim and to see the fishermen. Then Jinu,, the lovely owner of the property offered to show me around Kovalam and the surroundings to photograph and I had a wonderful experience. Very peaceful place. Breakfast it great and plentiful. Will return with my family if I can.
