The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including hiking, ski resorts, caverns, wineries and breweries. Massanutten Resort is less than 30 minutes away.
All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, toaster, blender, and regular drip and Keurig coffee makers. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food! Summary: We had a wonderful family Christmas there. The house is very clean with comfortable beds and beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for the 7 of us to sit together whether we were eating, cooking or lounging. Loved the tranquility and the view out the kitchen window.

Summary: We were in town for a wedding and wanted a place where multiple couples could stay. We loved the house. It is beautifully decorated and had plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds and linens were comfortable and towels were provided. The views of the river were beautiful and there was wood for the fire pit. One of our friends even did yoga down by the river. The hosts were incredibly responsive. Highly recommend staying here!

Summary: 3 couples visiting JMU for Homecoming weekend. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our tailgate dishes. The beds were comfortable and the house beautifully decorated. We had a great time, morning and night, sitting by the firepit down by the river! Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed River Mill House! It was clean, updated and very comfortable. It had all the historical charm yet modern conveniences. It was the perfect house for a large group and was very close to Cross Keys Vineyard where the wedding was.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this house. We're two families with kids, and there was enough room for everyone to be comfortable. Both husbands participated in a race in Natural Chimneys National Park, and the location was so convenient! The kitchen was perfectly appointed (sharp knives!) and the kids loved the yard. On our last night we spent a really lovely evening around the fire pit. Very highly recommended!
