Positive: Great location. Beautiful room with a fabulous view of the river, lake and historic lift bridge. Very friendly staff. Easily accessible from the thruway.
Negative: No complaints
Summary: Would highly recommend! And definitely go kayaking on the river!

Positive: The room was spacious, bright and clean. The staff was helpful and did everything to make our stay more comfortable despite some unexpected occurences (no river view, no housekeeping, location of room)
Negative: The room was listed as having a river view but it did not, all you could see was the sidewalk, parking lot, and people walking by. Housekeeping was not performed as expected the day after check in. There was a wedding so the sky bar was not open.
Summary: Overall, it was a positive experience and we would stay there again.

Positive: Beautiful new hotel with large rooms, nice top floor bar/breakfast area with view of the historic waterfront and quite a nice breakfast served. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Small area with good restaurants and shops just a few steps away.

Positive: The location was excellent. Very easy to get to and within walking distance to shopping, bars, and restaurants. The hotel is upscale and the decorations throughout tie into the steel and coal industries, as well as the railroad. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Water pressure was superb in the shower, and the towels were very plush and soft. The room was very quiet. It felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. We had a beautiful view of the Ashtabula River and drawbridge. The rooftop bar was not quite finished, but we could tell once complete it would be spectacular with wonderful views of the historic town. The room had an ample amount of outlets as well as USB ports.
Negative: The hotel is still in the process of fully opening. Because of this, the advertised free breakfast is unavailable until an "all clear" can be issued from the health inspector. The back door to the upper parking lot entrance was not working with the key card.
