Experience the cabin's charm with original wood-beamed ceilings and an old stone fireplace, complemented by modern amenities. The cabin's layout includes a downstairs open-plan living area with comfortable seating around the fireplace, a dining area with picture windows showcasing the forest and river, and a well-equipped kitchen. Like almost all cabins in the area, this home borders Highway 2 and the historic train line. Road and train noise is apparent on the street side of the house, but in the house and along the river side of the property, the white noise from the river washes most of it away.
Wood is not provided for the firepit.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) Summary: This cabin is a diamond in the rough, but since being sold mid-summer, the roughness has piled back up. I hope the new owner take good care of her moving forward so that others don’t have the same experience I did. P.S. The 3rd bedroom needs a bed like before.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at Timber Creek. The view out the back of this house is second to none. The mountains were enjoyed throughout the day, the running water of the river drowned out the worries of the day, and our children enjoyed spending a good portion of our day outside on the property. It truly was hard to say goodbye.

Summary: Highly recommend this place! The property is completely private with so many places to explore. We were there in November and it was awesome, can't even imagine what it is like during the warmer months. This is a great quiet place to get away from the hustle bustle of everyday life.

Summary: This was our second time at Timber Creek and it was just as beautiful as we remembered. The property and the views are unreal and it makes for an incredibly relaxing experience. That being said, it is a cabin in the woods so expect some rustic elements. The home does have a nice issue so we constantly has to be cleaning and we weren’t prepared with the right Tupperware and ziplock bags to keep everything safe so we lost a bit of food. Additionally, if you go in the summer months, there is a serious issue with Bears getting into the trash so you have to move the trash bins inside which also isn’t great for the mice problem. We lost 1/2 a day trapped inside because we had a bear getting into the garbage.

Summary: The home has been very nicely renovated and the kitchen is very well setup for entertaining. The flowers were blooming and the grounds are very nicely kept - really beautiful. There are mice in the kitchen, so make sure to wash out pans before using them. The house is very difficult to find and would benefit from some signage that more visible from the road. More specific directions, with mile markers, would help, since there is very limited cell service.

Summary: Every previous review is accurate. I am a super neat freak and this cabin is really wonderful. I am always a bit wary when it comes to properties that allow dogs, but this cabin was spotless and not a single dog hair! I have never seen this before — they do in astounding job of keeping the cabin, clean and easy to use. We settled in right away and were able to soak in every minute. The view brought us to tears. Thank you to the owners for sharing this magical spot with us!! Definitely coming back again. We use Vrbo and ton, and this is definitely a top five rental.

Summary: Very cute house. Gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. The river was really flowing so we opened the windows and enjoyed listening to it. Everyone had enough space to spread out or hang together. Great stay!

Summary: Beautiful location, with an easy drive from Seattle. The house was clean and well stocked, making it easy for a Friendsgiving including six guests and two dogs. We did lose power in the storm, thankfully the house had a backup generator but we also lost wi-fi which was important because there is very limited cell service and no data service. We were able to get some texts through to the property manager who helped keep us informed of the weather concerns and was very responsive. The road noise did not bother us too much and we took advantage of the gate on property to help with privacy. Please note, there is a foundation issue in the house that causes sloping floors especially in the kitchen and dining room, but also noticed it upstairs. Not a big deal if you're young and mobile, but I would be careful not to come back with elderly relatives in the future out of concerns they may fall on the slope.
