Summary: Four of us stayed in the beautiful location. The amenities were great. We took the kayaks out on the river. The home is beautifully remodeled and decorated. We would certainly stay here again.

Summary: This home was exceptional! You can tell the owners took great pride in all they did to create this serene, beautiful space in a heavenly setting! The view of the river is AMAZING and the house was extremely well appointed, stocked and comfortable...and super clean! I've stayed at many rental homes and this one was one of the best. The host, Evan, was responsive and thorough in providing all instructions and information needed to make our stay wonderful. Extra amenities provided were a bonus! I plan to go back and enjoy this home and area again!

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. Location The property is situated in a serene location right on the banks of the Shenandoah River. The views are breathtaking, with the river meandering peacefully and the lush greenery creating a sense of seclusion and tranquility. It's the ideal setting for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of ordinary life. With Berryville, VA not far away, there was easy access to great restaurants and shops. Accommodations The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy beds and a spacious living area. The interior decor had a charming, rustic feel, which complemented the natural surroundings. Large windows allowed for plenty of natural light and offered stunning views of the river. The property's outdoor amenities were a major highlight. We spent time on the deck overlooking the river while eating breakfast and dinner and enjoying the peacefulness of the scenery and feeling like we were secluded and away from everyone else. The interior was nicely appointed with new bathrooms, updated kitchens, and a warm and cozy atmosphere. Our evenings were comfortable and relaxing. Hospitality

Summary: Wonderful getaway right on the river. Peaceful with eagle, turkey, heron sightings. Took kayaks upstream to no-current side stream. Only 14 minute drive to Raven Rock trail (challenging). Host was always available although house was perfect.

Summary: This is a beautiful property! It is great for a small family, my daughter enjoyed the bunk beds. There is an outside playhouse that also has direct access to the water so caution with younger children. The view is spectacular with an amazing porch; we saw lots of wildlife and appreciated the binoculars. There is NO internet and that wasn’t particularly clear when booking, it said you can use your own hotspot but neither my nor my husband’s phone’s service was strong enough for a hotspot. Did not take away from our trip at all but might bother someone else. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Summary: The house was perfect. The location is a quiet area right on the river. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the beauty and the peacefulness of the water. The kitchen, with the water view is magnificent. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were amazing. Kayaks are available and we were thrilled to take advantage of them on a very warm day in March. We stayed for a weekend and wished that we could stay longer. We definitely want to return. 5+++ stars.
