Positive: Comfortable stay more or less near Crater Lake, which was still almost an hour and a half drive (not 45 minutes as we were told), but a much better option for a family than some of the tiny rooms and cabins nearer to the National Park. We had two different reservations for three nights, the renovated room was very modern, as good as any modern, city hotel. Much better than the older, unrenovated room, which actually had two bedrooms, felt more like a cabin in the woods, but was just a little too dated. The manager was wonderful, very helpful with the rooms, providing information about the area and restaurants, and just generally someone nice to talk to and generous with her time.
Negative: We had two different reservations for three nights. We were supposed to get two nights in the newer, renovated room, but didn’t get to see it, so we stayed the first two nights in an older room, which, granted, had more space, but it was just too dated for my wife’s taste. It felt like an old school cabin, for those who might like that sort of thing.
Summary: Comfortable stay for a visit to Crater Lake.

Positive: The manager was super helpful. Great location right by the Rogue river and there is a deck you can sit on and overlook the water.
Negative: Didn't care much about the food at Mac's. That's right next door

Positive: Standard hotel/motel on the way to Crater Lake. The AC worked well and it was generally comfortable.
Negative: Shower/bathroom area could be updated. Also the check-in after hours was weird. No one was there at ~9pm when we arrived, so they left our door unlocked and key inside. It might be a safe area, but that feels unsafe.
