This beautiful two bedroom modern guest house is newly built and recently completed in December 2018.
The guest house sleeps up to 6 and is situated on 5 river front acres midway between the the town of Fernie and Fernie Alpine Resort. It is less than a 5 minute drive to town, the ski hill, or the provincial park which translates to dining, fishing, mountain biking, nordic and downhill skiing at your finger tips.
This upper floor rental features in floor heat, vaulted ceilings, and large windows to take advantage of the breathtaking vistas of the ski hill and down the Lizard Range.
There is a hot tub situated in the backyard for guests to use with phenomenal views.
The open concept kitchen and living area are conducive to both social gatherings or meditative gazing of mountain views. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a custom counter height dining table/island and efficient cooking area. The living area with the large and panoramic windows is both cozy and spacious. Whether you are cooking, socializing or relaxing the built in speakers and sound system will help set the mood.
The media room features 5.1 surround sound, large screen TV (Netflix included) and a large, comfy sectional couch for family movie nights.
The master bedroom features a queen bed and views towards the Elk River and beyond.
The second bedroom features a twin over double bunk bed and daybed which works either as a twin or queen bed. This bedroom features views of the ski hill.
Laundry facilities include a washer and dryer (detergent included).
A ski locker is conveniently located at the front of the guest house for safe storage of skis and snowboards.
The bathroom is spacious and spa like. Soak in the tub and gaze towards Castle Rock, you just may glance upon the local fox or a herd of elk wandering through the field.
Parking is ample just in front of the guest house.
Please note: there is a bachelor suite directly below the guesthouse. It is entirely separate asides from the shared ski locker. If there are guests staying in the bachelor suite at the same time, please be courteous when it comes to parking and sharing the driveway (there is lots of room).

Summary: We have stayed her a few times before and it is a favorite for us. Thé condo is very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Nice and close to the ski hill! We really enjoyed our visit and will be back again!!

Summary: The "Guest House" was clean and well equipped, and Bo and Katya went above and beyond expectations with their communications, especially recommendations for hiking trails. The property is located very close to the Provincial Park entrance and the city of Fernie, so access to great hiking trails and shopping are very convenient. Although our overall impression was very favorable, there are a couple of minor quirks that keep us from giving the property a 5 rating. First, there is no provision for watching TV in the kitchen/living area where we spent most of our non-sleeping time. Second, the bathroom setup with the elevated tub/shower was less than ideal, especially for older people who might have trouble navigating the steps without handrails or grab bars.

Summary: This is our second time staying at this property and there is a reason for it! Katya and Bo provide a home away from home. With bathroom amenities from local artisans and local touches throughout. The home is clean comfortable and convenient to town. Looking forward to coming back!

Summary: Stylish modern new build apartment that has all the amenities and close to all the fun in Fernie. An abundance of hiking trails to choose from -- quaint shops and restaurants -- quiet setting just outside of town. Need I say more!! Perfect place to enjoy nature and unplug from the world. Hope to visit this area again!!

Summary: We had a great time in Fernie. The place is great. It's on a private, large property that is 5 minutes to Fernie Alpine resort or downtown. We were very comfortable while enjoying the amazing outdoors around Fernie and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: This house was exactly as we expected - it was tidy, well equipped, spacious and bright. The location made it easy to get into town and up to the hill and Fernie Provincial Park. The place was tidy and well laid out and there was plenty of room for a family of four. The hot tub and picnic table out back made a good outdoor space for us to use. We would stay here again.
