This riverfront two-storey property is located in Big Bend, about 2 hours from Adelaide, South Australia and 5km from Swan Reach. Big Bend is the longest single bend in the Murray River and its spectacular riverside cliffs are the tallest along the Murray River.
The majestic cliffs are not only scenic, but also provide great wind breaks meaning you can almost always find calm water. The property is two-storey, with upstairs offering kitchen, dining area and lounge room with leather lounge suite including a double sofa bed. This room leads out to a generous balcony from which the views of Big Bend can be enjoyed at its most. With modern furnishings the upstairs room is cosy but very comfortable. Upstairs and downstairs is accessed via external stairs. Downstairs is the recently renovated main bedroom and and bathroom. The bedroom sleeps 6 with two triple bunks. Beautiful lawn area surrounds the property down to the water's edge to the private jetty. Boat ramp is 2 minute drive away. With the sun reflecting on the cliffs it makes a much sought-after photo opportunity.
This one bedroom property can sleep a maximum of 8 people with two triple bunks (two double beds and two single bunk beds) and a double sofa bed upstairs in the lounge room.
Tenants must bring all linen including sheets, quilts and towels.
There is no internet at the property and phone service is limited with Telstra and there is virtually no service for other phone providers.
Longer term rental will be considered at a discounted rate.

Summary: Property was lovely in a great spot. As a guest we are requested to be respectful of the neighbours, it's such a shame the same isn't reciprocated. The weekend was supposed to be a relaxing time, instead we were met with neighbours doing renovations to the shack next door, from 8 am till 530. I understand the odd small fix up or maintenance, but this was non stop noise - we are talking nail gun, hammering, grinding, cutting and various other loud building noises on Saturday and then again starting early on Sunday morning. Unfortunately due to the superior location each nail shot echos back at you off the bend wall which sounds like gun shots . It gave us no choice but to pack up and leave early on Sunday as we just didn't want to be there any more as it wasn't really relaxing .

Summary: We loved our stay at this property. My husband enjoyed his fishing time while my daughter had lots of space outside to run around. Location is wonderful, we would definitely visit again.

Summary: Amazing bird life in the afternoons and mornings. Cliff views are amazing, best on the river! Neighbours were good people, very welcoming. Place was clean and the size was perfect for what we were after. Communication with owners was excellent. Wonderful!
