Located right on the famous Cedar River, The Abode has a beautiful cedar log cabin exterior while providing a modern and updated interior for our guests comfort. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1,900 sq. ft. rambler is fully updated inside with extra large windows and vaulted to take in the breathtaking view of the river. Sit out on the back deck in our lounge chairs, read a book and listen to the river flow. If its a bit chilly outside, enjoy the firepit located right off the river and roast some marsh mellows. Need some quiet time? Sit next to our cozy gas fireplace located in the den, snuggle up in a Pendleton blanket and sip some tea. Need to binge watch one of your favorite shows? We have you covered! Use our Smart TV located in the den with any one of your favorite streaming platforms such as Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney, etc...High Speed Internet is provided. Feeling like getting your game on? We have that too! Ping Pong table is located in the garage as well as a dartboard with a nice couch for spectators. We also have a plethora of indoor board games, cards, and puzzles. Need something for baby? We have your back. We provide an infant high chair, pack n play, and baby swing. If there is something missing that would make your stay more enjoyable, just ask! Summary: We absolutely loved our stay! The rental was beautiful! The river views from the main living area through the picture windows are amazing, but the outdoor space is really the show stopper! The outdoor heater made the deck the perfect spot for a cup of coffee on a cool fall morning and the river is so relaxing to watch and listen to. Loved having lots of clean, comfy space to come back to after a day of exploring. Perfect retreat for our group. Will be highly recommending to any friends/family headed to the Seattle area in the future!

Summary: We loved this place! We especially loved that it was tucked away so you had the illusion of being in a secluded location with groceries, shopping, and dining within minutes! Our host had all that we needed and more. We would definitely come back here again if we ever needed a place to stay near Seattle. Our only “complaint” if you could call it that is that our bed was too soft for us, but that is personal preference. The other couple that stayed with us had no problem with their bed.

Summary: The place is located in a remote area, far away from any grocery store or medical help. We arrived very late and it was dark so it was hard to find the way to the property. However when we open the door, it was a very nice layout, very clean and with good decoration. Unfortunately the host never follow up or responded to my messages. Overall I recomend this place. The view is very nice and it’s close to the river which you can see through the windows

Summary: The pictures do not do this property justice. We came for a wedding and didn't want to leave this property. My 91 year old mother, who can't see well, was very impressed. Her comment: maybe a shelf in the master shower as was difficult for her to bend down to get her shampoos. Also the steps to the main living area, for her, were a tripping hazard as was difficult for her to see as they blended in to the floor. Other than that, she (a realtor) was surprised at the decor and was very impressed that it was not "old/used furniture" "Beautifully done". For me and all of my family, the river was peaceful, the home was very comfortable. This property fit our needs perfectly and was very clean/warm/welcoming and the perfect de-stressor we were looking to achieve. My only regret is we didn't stay longer, however would love to book again. It is a beautiful home with beautiful surroundings.

Summary: We came to Seattle for a wedding and found this perfect cabin. We had a great time, did some sightseeing....but enjoyed the cabin and scenery the most! You won't be disappointed!

Summary: What a Beautiful Cabin! Our family was so happy here! It seems they thought of everything from family games to building blocks for kids (our two four year olds love building) to childproof locks on the doors; we could not have been more pleased. After busy days in Seattle, coming home to our peaceful cabin and outdoor water views was priceless to us. Our host Ashley was REALLY a super-host! We discovered we locked ourselves out at 10:30pm after my sons wedding. Ashley responded immediately and then called to be sure we were able to get in. Ashley also gave us a later check out time as we were taking a late flight back to Maine; a gift especially with our two four year olds. Thank you Ashley! We will miss being there and will be back!
