Positive: Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Nice garden next to the River

Negative: You can either have privacy in your room or curtains closed and no daylight coming in. Unfortunately not very well soundproofed towards neighbouring rooms. Taking a shower in the bathtub is a bit tricky as it is likely to flood the entire bathroom.

Positive: Riverise is an oasis down a dusty track in Maun. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and the huge room with sliding doors onto the garden, has one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on, which is perfect after a camping safari. The owner, Lezanne, is also extremely nice and helpful and booked us a scenic flight over the Delta. Food is great too.

Negative: It was a little difficult to get the shower to the right temperature but it’s a lovely rain shower shower.

Summary: Restful, luxurious stay after hectic safari.

Positive: Excellent breakfast and wonderful location next to the river. Large outside, grassy area to enjoy. Host very accommodating and flexible.

Negative: Nothing we didn’t like.
