Summary: This property is perfectly situated for everything that Beaulieu has to offer, with easy access too to lots of other villes et villages fleuris and much more in the area. Don't miss the Monday evening market and town BBQ by the river, which is amazing. Easy to park in the square outside the house, and a short trip by footbridge over the river to the local pool and slides, which are great for the children. Happy to recommend to everyone

Summary: We have just spent a lovely fortnight in Fleurie apartment on the top floor. The apartment has everything you could want. Spacious and cool even during the 31 degree sunshine. The location is stunning with views straight onto the river. On our last night we were treated to a firework display from out of the window. The town has lots to suit a family with teenagers. There was something to suit all of us, be it swimming in the river, exploring the historical sites, eating out, canoeing, hiring bikes or just people watching over a cafe au lait in the town square. On a Monday there is an amazing farmers market and BBQ right in front of the apartment. We recommend the menu gourmand at the Michelin star restaurant next door. Oh and if you want to visit the amazing cave (Gauffre au Padirac) make sure you book online first, it took us three visits to eventually get in. Put it this way, we did not want to come home.

Summary: This was a lovely apartment to spend a week exploring the Upper Dordogne area. The apartment is spacious and a perfect size for a family of four, with a good sized well furnished lounge with windows allowing light to flood in throughout the day and with views towards the river to die for. Situated in the old part of town, the daily walk to get the baguette was a lovely start to the day, and a number of shops to explore and a range of restaurants to suit all tastes and wallets all within a 5 minute stroll. The town is stunning with lots of things going on - eg markets, BBQ and music, and the mandatory outdoor square to sit down with a coffee to watch the world go by. There are loads of beautiful towns to visit within a half hour drive, and plenty of activities, although the highlight of my 10 year old sons holiday was a close call between canoeing, the clay courts at Brive and the mini grand prix go kart race track near Pers. There is an excellent lido 5 minutes walk across the river with two playable tennis courts, good enough for a friendly knock about. There is even a stretch of the Dordogne sectioned off to swim in for the brave. We highly recommend this appartment, you won't be disappointed, we were sad to leave - definitely a place we want to come back to one day.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful riverside apartment with fabulous views overlooking the Dordogne and the quaint market place below. On the doorstep is the village of Beaulieu, with the river, chapel, restaurant, swimming pool and tennis courts just a few minutes walk away. There are several patisseries, bars and restaurants in town and a small handy supermarket. The weekly market sold fresh produce from the region and had a lively atmosphere. During our stay we were lucky to have live music and dancing in the square and by the river one evening, with all the local families joining in - a real treat. The 2nd floor apartment is newly renovated and stylishly furnished with clean, comfortable good-sized rooms. It was ideal for our family of four. There was plenty of hot water and it was well-equipped for family use. We are definitely planning to make a second visit very soon.
