Summary: This is such a wonderful place to be. My daughter and I stayed here while attending a nearby concert. We loved the cottage and atmosphere so much that we spent most of our downtime here instead of out and about. We will definitely stay again when we find ourselves in the area. The host, David was awesome and the communication was top notch.

Summary: Our stay here, at RIVERSIDE Cottage exceeded our expectations. We loved how they set up the fire pit, in early spring, so that we could start the fire. The first thing we did was sit on the balcony. That led us down to the river for the fire. The bed downstairs was just magical. It provided us with a very magical view into cabin living. The open aired upstairs living area, punctuated by a beautiful piano, made for the perfect stay. Thank you!

Summary: The cottage is cozy and welcoming. The river sounds lull you into relaxation. This is a wonderful get away with lots of hiking and wine tasting nearby. The owner, David, is very communicative and pleasant. We will be back soon.

Summary: The cottage was super cute. Kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment. Comfortable beds. The hammock chairs next to the river were heaven! The river was beautiful for swimming, exploring, floating. Really enjoyed our stay. Would 100% recommend!

Summary: Lovely environment; quaint cottage from the '40s. A tiny glitch getting into the place, which was promptly resolved, A few small issues--e.g., BBQ was dirty, and we were afraid to light it in case of a grease fire. :( The landscape architect in me wanted to tidy up the flower boxes (expected, given that's one of my passions :D). Overall, though, a pleasant stay, in a beautiful spot.

Summary: Beautiful view at the river side. Drafty cottage in a neighborhood. There is heart here but unfortunately this was a miss for us given cleanliness (we had to wash everything we used before we used it, carpet in need of a cleaning especially under the very cool mobile living room sofa to beds), understocked advertised kitchen items, expired item, a sad plant on the piano I ended up watering and removing dead leaves from, drafts, and the surprisingly steep staircase with tiny steps, and a very wobbly side rail. The great things do include plenty of hot water, the view!, options for heating, washer and dryer, you can bring your pet. I think there is great intention here but it needs attention and care so that those who stay in the future don't have to work around what we had to.

Summary: Wonderful spot on Lewis River with river views and access. The two-level cabin is lovely with a lot of small things that make it very special including movies, kids cartoon books and a well-appointed kitchen (crockpot and cuisinart) with spices. We greatly appreciated the hot chocolate, coffee/tea and popcorn to enjoy on the first night/morning before going shopping. Communication with host is exceptional. Wonderful river trails and outdoor activities nearby like Lucia Falls and Battle Ground Lake. We will definitely check availability on our next visit to see family. Our kids are 12 & 14; the layout/set up was perfect.
