Summary: I am satisfied with everything about my stay except the reception service. When I was moving in they were extremely rude and unprofessional with me, asking to wait for 3 hours even though my room booking started a day before I moved in. They refused to show me where my room is located and overall made me feel unwanted in the hotel. Same thing happened when I was moving out, the bellboy who took my bags from me made it seem as if he was doing me a favor rather than his job. Everyone else in the hotel was very nice and friendly! I loved my stay and glad I didn’t decide to go to a different hotel after such an unpleasant greeting.

Summary: Perfect location on the beach with mountains behind. No need to leave the resort! Plenty of pools and dining facilities. The evening entertainment is loud and can be heard in the rooms. Great selection of food delicious food. The room was a little dated and the property could benefit from a renovation. All in all a good resort. Kids club is excellent.

Summary: Rixos Sungate is an entertainment hotel. And it does what it’s meant to do. The staff is attentive but the hotel is kind of old. Don’t expect much luxury on that front.
