Pool heaters are inefficient until outdoor temperatures reach an average of 68 degrees.

Summary: We loved the pool! The location and value was great. Easy drive into Louisville. We spent time in nice screened in porch too. Very pleased!!

Summary: We rented this home for my bachelorette weekend and it was wonderful! An easy ride to downtown Louisville for a night out followed by a pool party in the back yard. We loved it!

Summary: When we first got there everything seemed great until we went to look at the pool. It was green, had tons of leaves and debris in it and even a couple frogs! We booked this place because of the pool! We didn’t swim in it needless to say. We were totally grossed out. There was also hair in the shower on the wall that was from a previous person.

Summary: Ok. It really is a lot of money to stay here one night. All of us are iffy if it was worth it. The pictures are accurate the details are accurate. What you see is what you get. Some advice. Be ready, the pool/outside lights may not work, yes the pool is on the smaller side, yes most outside furniture does not have cushions, and yes we had to wipe the kitchen down. We had a grad party here. Our house was being worked on. It just wasn’t enough time. Bought the early check in 2pm was the earliest…check out at 10…just wasn’t enough time. That’s on us but wanted to put it out there. It is a cute walk to the river. The pool could have been cleaner but was refreshing.

Summary: Johnathan was very responsive and reached out to see how everything was and the home was exactly what we needed. There was plenty of space for all of us and all kinds of activities for the kids. The sun rising on the river and watching the barge go by was beautiful. A very quiet neighborhood and a lovely place to stay. Thank you for making your home available to us.

Summary: We really enjoyed this property. The location was close to conveniences, but far enough away to be quiet. The living room was comfortable and the screened in deck was the perfect spot to sit with my coffee. The upstairs bathroom and loft area were very clean. The rest felt "picked up" but not cleaned. The common area and downstairs bathroom, as other reviewers mentioned were visibly dirty with more than a little hair, sticky coffee rings, hair between sheets, and couch pillows with thick stains. In the downstairs bathroom the floor was sticky and the toilet was visibly dirty. To be clear I was not bothered by a little dust in the corners or on the stairs, there was a lived in feel to the house, which I expected and felt comfortable with, we didn't expect or need a sterile place to stay. The property manager did check in with us when we got there which was very considerate, but after driving for 12 hours, I didn't want to start our 3 night stay by reaching out to complain, especially since I knew from prior reviews that other visitors had already mentioned it could use a deeper cleaning and clearly it fell on deaf ears. There is a beautiful view of the river and outdoor fire pit that we really enjoyed. This would be a perfect place to stay with a partner or family if they just gave it a solid cleaning.

Summary: Nice little house with two bedrooms and loft area with bunk beds. Great screened porch off the kitchen. Nice pool area although pool was closed for winter. Owner was ver responsive and we appreciated that our dogs were allowed. We would have liked an indoor dining/kitchen table and house could have used a cleaning but the location was great and the neighborhood was peaceful. A family with younger kids might really enjoy this house!
