Positive: The fact the it was close to the beach which was what we wanted it to be. Being our first time coming with an elderly mother, with mobility restrictions distance was important to prevent uneasiness in travelling back and forth.
Negative: The property smelt of damp, the humidifier even when on without any one at the property would be full.. the little containers in the room were full of water.. the walls showed signs of leakage.. I was so concerned for my son who has asthma in case it would trigger his symptoms. The fan in the bathroom didn’t seem to work, and the bathroom had a damp feeling our whole stay. The pressure from the shower head was poor and the water extremely scolding hot. Having a shower no matter how careful leaked onto the floor. the water in the kitchen tap was also scolding hot My husband and I scolded ourselves several times. The fact the property is advertised as a ground floor apartment but the bedroom and bathroom are on the basement. Bottom step had carpet pins poking out. The double bed mattress was uncomfortable and felt tilted when laying down. The duvet had staines on it. The fridge door was difficult to open and close.
