This one bedroom, one bathroom condo is a rare find! It sits hilltop in a quiet HOA community only 2 minutes from Gate 1 of Redstone Arsenal. It is equipped with all the essentials necessary for a weekend getaway, or a long-term business trip. When the weather is nice, enjoy yourself poolside in the private pool only five paces from the front door!
***Late check-out is by request only at an add'l $40 fee and you are limited to one (1) hour.
POOL RULES!!!
1. There is only one (1) pool key. Please do not lose it. You will be charged $100 if it is missing after you check out.
2. You MUST wear the red and/or the green pool wristband while accessing the pool. If you do not, the HOA will ask you to leave. DO NOT give the key or the wristbands to your friends or family members. If you do the HOA will fine me, and I will transfer that fine to you! Please DO NOT lose the wristbands. You will be charged $100 per wrist band if they're missing after you check out.
3. DO NOT open the door for anyone whom does not have a key to access the pool.
4. You are limited to bring ONLY the people in your reservation to the pool. If you invite more people than whom are included in your reservation the HOA will revoke my pool access for one year, and I will have to fine you $500 for ruining the privilege for future guests!!
5. No life guard on duty - swim at your own risk.
6. No one under the age of 17 may be alone at the pool without an adult.
7. No loud music, no profanity, no nudity (your private areas must be covered by your bathing suit at all times) - no exceptions.
8. No running, no rough play, no fighting, no bikes, no skate boards, no glass containers of any kind.
9. Only bathing suits are allowed in the water - no street clothes and no shoes.
10. Shower before you enter the water.
11. Small children should wear floaties.
12. For the safety of others, do not enter the water if you have open wounds, sores, or have a contagious disease.

Summary: Our host was particularly great about communications. We had a very nice stay. We were working downtown at the VBC and found the location of this property very convenient to lots of restaurants and our work location. Thank you for making a tough week easier!

Summary: I checked in the afternoon of Apr. 23. Other than a few minor things all was well, although, upon arrival, there was a bag of trash on the curb in front of my unit where it had been cleaned from the prior guest. Still no biggie at that point. I was pretty tired to I went to bed early, slept well and got up early the next morning, my first full day there. After meeting friends for lunch, I came back, planning on going out by the pool for a couple of hours. I walked over to the pool only to find the fall/winter cover still on with all the dead leaves on top. The gate was locked so I couldn't even sit out in the sun. The ad for the unit had several pics of the unit, the beautiful pool, a back patio with chairs. So, I was out of luck on the pool, one of the main reasons I went with this property. I saw where it said the pool was closed fall and winter, but this is over a month into spring, and still NO POOL. So I decided to go back inside and sit out on the back patio, except for one thing there were no chairs out there like the ad showed, and when I tried to open the sliding doors to go out back, the door wouldn't even open. At this point, I was getting rather pissed. I let Kendall, the host know about it. No apologies for the pool or the back patio. No offer to make it right. The ad clearly said that it was a non-smoking unit. OK, I understand that. But not only can you not smoke inside, you have to go completely off the property to smoke, which meant every time I wanted to smoke, I either had a pretty good walk, or had to take the car off premises., which got old very quickly. In the meantime, that evening, I was getting instructions from the host about not putting my trash out on the curb til just before 8am the next morning. Upon getting that, and all the other crap that had happened, I let Kendall know what I thought about it all, including the fact that the trash of a prior guest was out in front of my unit the entire time I was there, and I was getting messages not to put mine out too early? Also, no pets. OK, fine with that. But why is there a black cat at my front door nearly every time I went out? I followed all the rules that I kept getting thrown at me. But let me ask this, vrbo, & Kendall; why do you not produce what you say in the ad? If I had known the pool was closed, I wouldn't have rented the place. This was my first experience with vrbo and it will be my last. Oh if you want to watch the big TV make sure you turn light switch on

Summary: Decent stay. Needs some updating and repairs. This is a no frills stay. Nice bed, but bring your own pillow. Nice couch but is showing signs of needing replaced. TVs great. Keurig provided but no pods. Shower drain didn’t drain. Just the the little things. Good if it was just me.

Summary: The condo is older, but clean and tidy. Linens were crisp and appeared to be new. The bed not to our liking. It was a memory foam and was soft in the middle. We rolled to the middle all night the first part of the first night. I had to move to the couch which was very hard. No great sleeping option for me, but my husband slept ok. There were garbage bags torn open and a can tipped over on the patio with trash strewn across the lawn. No coffee pods for the coffee maker and I called the host to ask if they were kept in a location I had not looked. With the less than great Wi-Fi I did not receive a text back until the next morning (that i did not see initially and apologized for not seeing later) along with a second response from the host asking how the stay was going. When I responded that it wasn’t the greatest due to the mattress and coffee pod situation, she wanted to know why I would bring up the coffee pods when she was on her way to bring them? And then stated she guessed she would not bring them and in fact, did not. All because she didn’t like my answer to how our stay was going. She asked! The three things you hope to get during a quick stay on the road is CLEAN INTERIOR, A GOOD NIGHTS REST and COFFEE WITHOUT HAVING TO GO OUT. One out of three was a little disappointing, but you can’t please everyone every time. HOWEVER….what disappointed me most was the attack I received from the host through text for giving my initial thoughts on our stay. As I stated, I did not receive a text regarding the coffee until the next morning that said she was sorry for no coffee “they must have been used up” and would bring some the next morning. I read that at 9:30am right after I had responded to the ‘how’s your stay so far” question. This is the response I got after: “We’ll let me tell you something… You are very rude and one of those people no host wants to have stay (and much more)” She did not like my comments and instead of saying “I’m sorry to hear that, is there anything I can do to make it right?” (whether or not she could) she proceeded to tell me I was a crappy guest. She also made sure to tell me how much she made being a ‘premier’ host and that ‘she knows the business and I don’t need to tell her how to do it’. She stated she was tired of the disrespect I was giving her. There was much more that I don’t need to put on here, I think you get the gist. Not a professional host, but a decent place to stay if she’s ready for you.

Summary: Felt very safe as a solo female traveler here. Nice neighborhood to walk around in and fairly close to downtown so it was easy to go grab food. Wifi was reliable while I was working and the little backyard was cute. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice Huntsville stay. It’s not the Ritz obviously but it’s a perfectly good place to stay and Kendall was a great host
