Positive: I love to drive the Historic 66 hwy. And this motor court is a perfect place to stay. Phyllis has put the work into restoring this nostalgic motel with colors, decorations and ambiance you'll find relaxing and entertaining. I have stayed twice within 6 months and I feel the same about each room. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is well equipped with a nice shower. I didn't need to use the flat screen TV, microwave or apt. size fridge. My initial stay was in November when Phyllis was nearing the completion of the renovation; this time I saw her work done. I really enjoyed standing in the center of the courtyard looking at the cabins brought back to life. The price is definitely worth the experience.

Positive: It was a privilege to stay in this beautifully restored classic motel. It is situated on directly on Route 66 in Springfield. The room was very comfortable with plenty of hot water readily available. It was good to have a selection of snacks to go with the coffee machine. I particularly liked the retro style fridge and radio.
Negative: Only that I couldn't have stayed longer.

Positive: Phyllis was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The motel was delightful and chock full of history. Decor matched the theme and the bed was cozy. An excellent last-minute find for solo/duo travelers.
Negative: Nothing at all! I’ll be recommending to anyone on their way through.
