Positive: Location was okay, next to the highway and the railway but you could reach the main street within 15 minutes by foot (and if you're a fan of canadian pacific you're in the right spot ;-)). For the price you pay (summer) probably okay value.
Negative: Kitchen equipment was a little poor (no cooking spoon or spatula, no can opener).

Positive: This is a great place to stay if you're planning to visit the Rocky Mountains. It's in a quiet area on the outskirts of town with quick access to the highway. Our 1-bedroom room was very spacious, and we really appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed us to prepare our own meals. The staff was very friendly and helped us several times with the dryer.
Negative: The only thing Iโ€™d suggest is updating the appliances, like the washer and dryer.

Positive: Check-in was fast and easy, the room could be accessed right from the outside, which was convenient as we were travelling with a dog. The hotel staff kindly allowed us to leave our car in a vacant spot inside the court-yard for a few hours after our check-out while we spent some time exploring Canmore itself.
Negative: Just one sink in the unit (in the bathroom) was a bit inconvenient as while one person was using the bathroom, there was no access to water for the other person.
Summary: Reasonably clean, convenient location, helpful staff, good value for the price, pet-friendly.

Positive: The lodge has an amazing view to the mountains and the roads. They clean the room and change towel every day.
Negative: The toilet during night has an unpleasant smell from the sink. I turned the fan from the ceiling and sealed the sink and bathtub, then it faded a bit. Plus, the wood floor was quite sticky to my feet.
