Summary: Weather was great. Staff was super knowledgeable of the area and super friknowledgeable only. This was a much needed family trip! I’ll be returning in a few weeks and plan on rebooking here!

Summary: The room was clean but really needs to be updated! I liked the convenience of being able to just take your luggage right into the room. The breakfast.. well I don’t even think you could call it that. But there is a pancake house right beside them…

Summary: Overall, this is an affordable and pleasant place to stay. The bed was very comfortable- great support for my husband's bad back. Breakfast left something to be desired. White bread, sugary cereals, pastries and waffles were the only choices. No good source of protein or fiber was offered. Sunny D was the only juice offered. Having some yogurts on hand and some whole grain bread would be an affordable way for the hotel to provide something a bit healthier in the mornings. Fresh fruit would also be a nice addition.

Summary: The room is a bit dated. A coat of paint would be nice. The air conditioning was amazing I love when it really cools the room down. Nice flat screen tv. The "Breakfast" was only coffee, toast and cereals. -For the price it was ok.

Summary: It has it's goods and bads. It is located close to Bush Gardens and Historic Williamsburg. I felt safe staying there as a female with a child. There was almost no noise, however, one guess had a loud truck that would leave at daylight, and trash pick up behind the building was on a Tuesday, but I did not hear the other guests through the walls. Most of the rooms have curtains, however room 339 and maybe two other rooms do not and only have blinds. The blinds let in a lot of light, night and day. I did not feel like it gave enough privacy. Thankfully I travel with travel room darkening curtains and was able to use them. The beds were a little too firm for me. The comforter is weighted and inside a cover that felt like curtain material and in my mind didn't feel clean, so I used the blankets I brought. The sheets were clean though. You could tell at some point someone smoked in the room, but you didn't notice the smell after a few minutes of being in the room, and there were burn marks in the bathroom as well. There was a little bit of mold in the molding around the tub, but not major. The refrigerator worked great and I could freeze ice packs if I put them against the back wall of the refrigerator. Breakfast was cereal and bread, so that was disappointing, but there is a pancake restaurant right next to the hotel. We did not try the pool, but it looked clean. We would definitely stay again, but we would request to not stay in a room with blinds (339).

Summary: First of all beware there is more than one Rodeway Inn. I thought I was booking the other one. We went to go to the continental breakfast. It was toast and cereal. Breakfast ended costing me $400 for a family of 6 for 3 mornings because there was no breakfast choice for everyone. We found what we thought was a cockroach the first evening. The guy at the desk mad a joke of it and told me it was a water bug. I explained my daughter is allergic to cockroaches he said not to worry it wasn’t one it’s because there’s water next to them and any one who lives next to water gets them. I live n a river bank at home and have never seen these. He then goes in to say they are in the roch family. Remember my daughter is allergic. And yes we found 1 in our room also. The draw in my daughter’s room was broken. The window in the bathroom was disgusting. We asked about the ev charge we were told they don’t have gone down to the check dealer and use theirs. My girls went swimming and didn’t turn n the towels right away he yelled at them. They went to go swimming at 9:15 pm and asked if they were really going swimming now. Be careful what outlet you use in the room they don’t all work. And I’m still waiting for the charge that was put on my cc to be refunded. I tried to change the way I was paying at check in and the guy argued with me about it. He finally ended up doing what I wanted him to do.

Summary: Staff was very friendly upon check in. Room was a little outdated but fit in with colonial vibe. Drive up to room. Bathroom is the most outdated. Beds were fine. Continental breakfast was lackluster. Overall good for the price and a short stay

Summary: The stay overall was okay but the hotel needs some updates. First they shouldn’t call themselves a hotel but a motel and they need some renovations! It’s cool for what it’s worth but they need better decor as well. It’s historic roadway in but it shouldn’t look historic either. But the concierge was great. And the bed was so uncomfortable there was no blinds!
