Positive: This part of Texas had endured a hard freeze and that's why I elected to stay here. I just didn't want to drive on icy roads after dark. Was very grateful this place was available.
Negative: The room was very cold at check-in. Like in the 40's. I turned on the heat and went to dinner and upon return, it still wasn't very warm. I had the thermostat on the highest setting (80) and I do not think the room ever got above the low 60's all night. The floor was frigid due to the room not being heated prior to use. I wish I had stayed somewhere with more adequate heat.
