The Cabin is nestled amid forest and meadows, on a bubbling creek just off the two covered porches and is the perfect getaway destination. It is built in the 1800's fashion, with large posts and beams, high ceilings, all the wood is hand draw-knifed, the period style yellow pine floor shows the saw marks and is set by cut nails from a forge built in 1797.
We consider pets on a case by case basis.This very private, elegantly furnished and decorated cabin that is designed for two, has all the expected amenities and more, and is available by the day, week, weekend or month for your private and relaxing getaway.
No Cell Service, No Internet and No neighbors you can see or hear ... try a 70's getaway, you'll love it ... Land line in cabin with free USA long distance ... if you need the internet, it's just 3 miles from the cabin at Becky's Store ... free wifi and good food !

Our dining area seats up to 6 folks ... to help with any guests you may want to entertain.
The ultimate in bedding awaits your stay with a luxury foam pillow top mattress in a beautiful queen cedar hand built bed for a great sleeping experience, a free standing porcelain gas log fireplace, and more.
A fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities you expect ... dishwasher, 4 burner full size stove and oven, full size fridge and ice maker, microwave, toaster oven, all utensils and pots, pans, dishes, paper products, linens and towels are furnished for you ... just bring your clothes, toiletries and food! A full bath with a Shower for two persons with individual controls and an luxury outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

Summary: The cabin was amazing and the views took your breath away and transported you into a state of complete relaxation. The night stars and the sounds of the stream were so peaceful. The owners Rob and Gail were so nice and yes the bread was wonderful. Which I wanted to thank them both for all the extra care and special thoughts that made it even better,

Summary: The cabin was the perfect place for my wife and I to have our honeymoon! It was so much more beautiful than we could imagine! From the fresh bread and 360 mountain views in peak fall, to the waterfront porch and outdoor shower it was fantastic! An absolute delight away from the monotony of the city! Everything was beyond our wildest dreams of being able to experience! The owners are the nicest people too! We are already planning our next trip we loved it so much!

Summary: The cabin is in a wonderful spot, right next to the peaceful sounds of the babbling creek. The property itself is well maintained and the cabin itself I really quite nice - with lots of attention to detail and ensuring that as the listing says, the only thing you need to bring is clothing and food. Everything is provided. The owners, Bib and Gail, are very easy to work with and are very welcoming - making check in and check out a breeze. This place is a great find at a very reasonable price. I’ll be heading back their for sure!

Summary: This was our second time coming to this property. The Fall colors were starting and the view from the cabin was awesome. Turkeys were in the field in the morning as usual and the sunrise and sunset over the hills on either side was stunning. It is very relaxing to sit by the creek and have a fire going in the fire-pit at night. Just a wonderful place to slow down and unplug for a while.

Summary: The grounds were immaculately maintained. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. 360* views with thoughtful seating. Secluded, quiet, beautiful. You need the directions provided, via email; it is winding gravel roads at the end. We were glad we brought our dogmobile. Appreciated the hosts’ hospitality and willingness to allow dogs. The grounds and cabin were inviting for the whole family, including dogs.
