Summary: It was very clean and suited a family of 4 perfectly. Loved having laundry on site. Great location, close to town to get stuff. We were there during holidays and was decorated for the holidays gave an extra special feel. No snow but lots of board games to occupy the time. The beds were extremely comfy as well. Great stay!!!

Summary: My husband and I decided to spend Christmas away from the city and found the perfect place at Sandal’s Sanctuary. The location is quiet and peaceful, the cottage is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures, it is new and gorgeous, the floor to ceiling windows offer lots of natural light, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The view from the deck is spectacular. It feels like your own little “island of tranquility” and it would be the perfect getaway in any season. Casey, the host was great to communicate with. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We will definitely come back.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here for a week and had a very nice time. The cabin had everything we needed. It could have been a little cleaner. I thought that the floor had been forgotten to be swept or vacuumed but other than that we were pleased with the cleanliness. Owner was very good with communication. The power went off a couple times due to weather and she was very communicative to ensure we were alright and to provide updates on when the hydro was proposed to be fixed. Location is nice and close to Haliburton, but being November when we went there wasn't very much to do. Overall, very nice, quiet stay.

Summary: My parents and I loved spending the weekend at this chalet. The location was great and the chalet had so many thoughtful details that we appreciated. My parents couldn’t get enough of soaking up the sun on the deck. My favourite part was the kitchen. Casey was a wonderful host and the check in process was easy. .

Summary: What a fabulous cabin! Enjoyed every minute. It’s brand new and modern with all of the amenities you could ask for. Definitely will stay here again when visiting Haliburton.

Summary: Calm serene peaceful. 3 ladies looking for a getaway from our busy stressful lives of being caregivers to aging parents, wives and mothers. Sleeping in the loft was magical. Quiet. We walked into the forest. Picked up rocks that spoke to us, chatted about the widlfowers and laughed all week. The cottage has numerous games to play. Clue was a favorite childhood game. It brought back memories. Casey is an attentive caring host. If given the chance, I would definitely return. A little piece of paradise in a forest of maple and pine trees. 🙏💚

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Haliburton! We spent 5 days gravel biking and looked forward to returning to the large deck for a cold refreshment each day and the deck never failed to deliver. 5 stars all the way!
