This historic chalet is quietly located in Hinterzarten and surrounded by a large garden. Nevertheless, the center is within a few minutes walk. It has four bedrooms, an original Black Forest parlor with tiled stove, a bathroom with underfloor heating, guest WC, a TV lounge with fireplace and large terrace. The ideal holiday destination for groups and large families (for up to 8 people). Built in 1925, it was extensively renovated in 2017 and offers an exclusive ambience in an elegant country house style. The chalet was u. a. decorated with exclusive fabrics by Voyage Maison, Fine and Laura Ashley. The bathrooms are equipped with the noble accessories of the company Decor Walther. The highlight is the sauna house (with additional bathroom), which is located next to the chalet. A garage parking space is available in addition. Summary: Absolutely charming house in a wonderful location in quite a posh and beautiful town in the Hochschwarzwald, with wonderful sightseeing and hiking opportunities all around. The house is clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and communication with the owners prior to and during our stay could not have been easier. The hosts are wonderful and included many thoughtful touches to make our stay extra special. We plan to return as soon as possible!

Summary: The property is lovely with local charm. Furnishing functional and traditional. 4 sleeping area that are spread around property and offer nice privacy and space. The owners are near by and very helpful. The location is great for exploring the area. Trains available and food and necessities are within walking distance.

Summary: Excellent communication from Beatrice prior to arrrival and detailed handover upon arrival. Property exceeded expectations with lots of nice touches and was absolutely immaculate. Our daughter enjoyed the table tennis and games room. There were only three of us and two dogs, however property would easily accomodate more people comfortably. Very peaceful location just a few minutes walk from the middle of the village. We would happily recommended this property to others.

Summary: We loved our stay at this place! The house is beautiful and the interior design is also really nice. You can make great hikes from there and the town with its restaurants is in walking distance. With the Hochschwarzwald Card provided with the rental you can ride the regional trains to a lot of interesting places and get discounts on a lot of activities nearby. Everything was very clean and the house is well equipped with everything you might need. Thanks Beatrice (the owner) for a wonderful week in the Black Forest!

Summary: I am afraid to tell anyone about this property, in case it becomes to busy! We have rented over 30 homes in the past decade, and this home ties for #1. Beatrice & John live next door and are simply fantastic hosts. This is an immaculate home with original old world Black Forest Country Charm that is VERY hard to find in this form. Beatrice was born here, so it is evident that she cares about preserving this property. Everything in the home was perfectly appointed, including the sauna house. Beatrice has impeccable taste. We cannot say enough about the home, location or the hosts. We are DEFINITELY coming back. The only issue we experienced was a lack of functioning internet, which was actually great for our family, LOL!! You really would not miss it in this place. Evidently it is the internet company, and not the hosts. John spent quite a bit of time trying to fix the situation. Free train rides in the region were also wonderful. 30 minutes to Freiburg. An amazing city to explore. Thank you Beatrice & John for preserving this beautiful property!!! All the best and much love to you both. Gary & Vivienne
