The Cottage at Sunny Bay is a peaceful and serene Adirondack escape with private access to Great Sacandaga Lake.
The cottage is on a private road with private lake access, making it perfect for a romantic getaway or an escape for the family. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy during your stay. Minimal boat traffic from the lake access makes the area ideal for kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding. The cottage's proximity to the Adirondacks also makes it a perfect spot for a hike. In the winter, snowmobiling and ice fishing winter are some of the top draws to the area.
The cottage is complete with all the necessities to ensure you are comfortable for your visit. There is WIFI, and a smart TV. We also have board games and books for adults and children to enjoy. Outside you can enjoy the views from the back deck or take advantage of the gas grill.
Our location is also perfect for day trips. Visit the outlets at Lake George Village or Saratoga Springs and its racetrack, which are both roughly 40 minutes away. And fear not, Target is only 15 minutes away in Amsterdam.

Summary: It's an ok place to stay . If he gets and washer and dryer in there and wraps up all the projects would be 10 times better.

Summary: This property was nice and had all the amenities of home. Beds were clean and comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. We loved the wrap around deck and yard. The only downside was that there were six of us so, we had to use the pull out sofa (sofa was comfortable) in the living room but, I think the addition of some blinds or curtains on the front windows would provide more privacy. Also, a blind or curtain in the bathroom would be great as you can see in the bathroom from the deck. Other than that we all loved the place and had a great time. Dan was super responsive to my emails and I appreciate that! Bottom line we would definitely stay again.

Summary: Very nice house very nice area however the pictures are deceiving the house is way smaller than the pictures make it look I have four teenagers and two adults and we were in need of a lot more room. And it may also need to be known that there is no dock and it’s very weedy and muddy where you’re supposed to go out of into the lake. Don’t get me wrong we had a great time, but we would have liked a dock or sandy area to swim. There was really no where to do that
