This romantic oceanfront artsy one bedroom house on 2 levels is a true hideaway, only 12 miles from Boston. It's quiet, located completely off the street, yet you can easily stroll to beaches, restaurants and shops. Enjoy Boston's skyline, the spectacular sunrises and sunsets and breathtaking views of the ocean anywhere in the house. Chef's kitchen, private year-round outdoor spa, an indoor Jacuzzi for two, a wood burning fireplace and more. It's close enough to stroll along the beach to hear some music at a local restaurant, yet far enough not to be disturbed by it at night. Perched high on the hill, the home boasts ocean views from every window. Fully renovated custom chef's kitchen, a separate dining room, new 1.5 baths (one with a Jacuzzi), a large bedroom. Cathedral ceilings, skylights, fireplace, hardwood floors, wrap around decks and a private hot tub! Cable, wifi, washer & dryer, linens, towels, kitchen supplies, utensils, fruit, coffee, tea, water are all provided at arrival. Close to Salem, Marblehead and to the airport, you can take a train, bus and in the summer even a boat to Boston.
First floor: Full kitchen, dining room (piano), living room (fireplace, TV), bathroom (washer, dryer), wrap-around deck (hot tub, grill).
Second floor: Bedroom (queen size bed, cathedral ceiling, skylights, TV), bathroom (Jacuzzi, rain shower for two), deck.
The house is modern, secluded and romantic; perfect for a couple seeking a quiet retreat after a busy day. (It’s a romantic retreat for two; there is only one bed!) For me this house is not some get-rich-quick investment scheme. Rather, I am letting you to experience my home and I trust you will treat it with respect.

Summary: Beautiful property with seaside ambience. The artwork and decorations are colorful and tasteful; serene plants and flowers inside and out; full kitchen with convenience items included. The hot tub and Jacuzzi tub were clean and relaxing. The bed was perfectly comfortable and so we're the patio furniture.

Summary: We really enjoyed the property! Beautiful views and very clean and comfortable home. The property is within 30 minutes of Boston, Lexington/Concord and Salem. We did day trips to all these areas, so it was a prime location in that sense. The neighborhood is also very well kept with a nice strip along the shore with restaurants and shops. Definitely rec this spot!

Summary: The house was as expected which is saying something because the listing looks terrific. It is about an hour north of Boston and 15 minutes southeast of Salem in a quiet neighborhood. There are porches on both floors with views of Boston. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking to travel to this historic area.

Summary: We feel lucky and privileged to have stayed in this beautiful home. It’s perfectly situated to both explore the area and get into Boston easily. The house itself is lovely…we’ll equipped and more extras tan we would normally expect from a holiday rental. The bed was so comfortable and the shower good and hot….but the highlight has to be the view! Looking out over the ocean from the balcony, or better still the hot tub was a highlight of our trip. We had a minor issue which was sorted promptly by Ivan and our stay has come far too quickly to an end. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Summary: Wow, where do I even begin...this property is ever more beautiful in person than in pictures. Ivan has put a lot of effort into making this VRBO feel like home. The house is spotlessly clean and filled with lovely artwork in every room. There are also many different varieties of plants throughout the house which we loved. There is everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The views from both decks are absolutely stunning and you can see the Boston skyline from the top floor. I enjoyed having the doors open upstairs, listening to the birds and the crashing of the water across the street, especially first thing in the morning. There are some great restaurants and shops within walking distance which was a bonus. The house is also located about a mile from the Swampscott train station which made visiting Salem and Boston a breeze. Our only complaint is that our stay was too short (2 nights). We hope to return again in the future and enjoy this property for a longer period of time. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the Boston/Salem area and have already shared the listing with several friends. Thanks again for sharing your stunning home with us!

Summary: The pictures of this property are exactly what you hope for in an online listing, and the reality matches perfectly! We could not have been more pleased with this location. Our stay in Swampscott, which is just a short drive from Boston was truly the perfect getaway, and we stayed in March of all times! The location is perfect. The place is perfect. There are several restaurants within walking distance (even in the snow it was great to walk!), or you can have restaurants deliver! If we are ever back in the Boston area, we will absolutely be coming back here! The place itself was beautiful and so fun!
