Positive: Clean and spacious. Excellent location for cathedral, centre and university, with regular bus to railway station. Unique and under-rated river/lake view (illustrated from balcony). Generally, extremely quiet for a city property. Responsive host.
Negative: Itchy bed. Limited culinary options - basically boil or microwave. Occasional late night/early morning noise from the shared entrance corridor. Redundant steps at entrance prevent easy wheeled access to this ground floor flat.
Summary: Spacious, central, with great river view, but some facilities could be better

Positive: Location was great - near the river and restaurants. The view of the river from the balcony was lovely. It was nice and quiet.
Negative: It was hard to find. Mainly this was with me stuggling to find the instructions on the booking.com app. The walk from the street into the appartment wasn't pretty - felt very run down. The room was a bit bland. Parking was good but also a long walk from the appartment.

Positive: Great location with a balcony to wave to passing boats (and to watch a heron on a wall accross the water).. The nearby bakery is a bonus and the nearest supermarket is a short walk away. Kitchen is quite well equipped but we ate out other than breakfast. Beds very comfortable. Windows nded a good clean externally! Washing machine in the flat (no dishwasher).
Negative: The room is so close to running water that it has a suspicion of a damp smell.
Summary: Great location, good facilities and comfortable.

Negative: The long depressing entrance was not appealing, but once inside the apartment everything was wonderful and view of the river was the key.

Positive: Very organised system for checking in. Easy to enter the building and the studio using the codes provided. All information had been communicated well in advance. The room was a good size and in a wonderful location.
Negative: Parking outside the Hotel du Theatre to drop off bags wasn't ideal and on departure there was nowhere to park as two vans were occupying the space permanently that day. The room was really noisy - noise comes in directly from the hallway and also from the toilet. The doors are old and could be much better in terms of sound-proofing.
