Positive: A member of staff greeted us and was lovely and friendly and took us to our accommodation. She gave loads of information regarding food and drinks at the bar and restaurant and it can even be brought to the accommodation if you didn't feel like cooking or eating at the restaurant. The accommodation had everything we needed and it lovely to have a kitchen and living room to relax in after a long drive. The view from the living room space had a lovely outlook too. Amazing value for money !
Summary: This is our second booking , super location and will definitely book again.

Positive: Keys were picked up from the attached bar/restaurant. One of the staff escorted us to the property and made sure we got in and were comfortable. Bed was a little on the soft side, fine for me, but not my wife who has back problems. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The little upstairs lounge with kitchenette, sofa and TV was perfect for our needs and as a bonus there was a little balcony with side table and chairs, although we were unable to take much advantage of these due to the typical Lake District weather. The attached bar/restaurant was pleasant with a good selection of moderately priced meals, which was ideal when you're looking for a meal to round off the day and not a lavish spread. The complex was on a main road but set back enough not to be a problem and had plenty of free parking.
Negative: There was a good size TV with Freeview, so not a bad selection of real time programs. As there was free internet it would have been even better if we could have had an internet enabled TV to get a better selection of programs.

Positive: The girls on reception were so lovely and helpful and dealt with noisy neighbours 🥰 they were very professional and friendly
Negative: The noise coming from the other guests was awful and the poor receptionist had to come out to tell them to be quiet, we had a toddler with us and really struggled to get her to sleep. Also it was disappointing we couldn’t get breakfast in the morning
