Positive: Quiet in the country no lights. Very comfortable and clean. Loved the big room and bathroom. Great kitchen dining and shared lounge area. Breakfast was also great.

Positive: Me and my partner had a fantastic stay, what didn't we like?! The lovely host couple have an amazing home which they warmly welcomed us into! We had our space in isolated part of the property with with everything we need and more for the two of us and our puppy! The view is breath taking and it's so peaceful out at Rooks Edge. The way they've got this set up is just amazing, definitely would recommend and re book! And they even let us check out late, with no fee. My partner and I both said this is the first accommodation in years we cant fault.... thanks Ronelle and James

Positive: The most tranquil I have felt in a very long time! Such a beautiful place to stay and everything that we needed. The room was large and comfortable, the kitchen facilities and breakfast plentiful and animals aplenty! Ronelle was such a wonderful host, we even got to herd sheep with the dogs. Could not fault this stay in any way.
Negative: Nothing, the stay was perfect!
Summary: The most wonderful, peaceful place! Couldn’t recommend it more!

Positive: The property is located in a beautiful and peaceful area, surrounded by hills and open fields. The room is spacious and features both air conditioning and a cozy fireplace. From the balcony, you can enjoy a lovely view of sheep passing by. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a generous selection of essentials: yogurt, bread, jams, milk, juice, coffee, and tea are all provided. You'll also find olive oil and a wide variety of spices for cooking.
Negative: Unfortunately, the level of cleanliness was disappointing. Our bathroom,especially the toilet was not clean, which made us feel that it might have been overlooked during preparation. There were also many hairs on the floor from previous guests, which was quite off-putting. The main living area also did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. While we understand that staying on a farm can come with a variety of natural smells and that the owner may be used to them we noticed a very strong dog odor in the living space. It made it difficult to spend time there comfortably, especially when cooking or eating. A diffuser might help improve this.

Positive: I needed a place to relax for a few days and that's exactly what I got. I couldn't have been more thrilled with relaxing on a working sheep farm, in front of a log burner with my knitting and books. WiFi was excellent and I think I could possibly even have worked from there if I'd needed to. It was a bonus to discover Ronelle dyes her own yarns and to get a tour of the wool shop and a new knitting project for me.
Negative: My most challenging thing was that my phone didn't work there. However I am on a network that doesn't do great country coverage. If I walked/drove to the top of the drive I could make a call.
Summary: I found a piece of country paradise.
