Summary: Great little place for a night stay. Beds were so comfortable. It feels like you’re staying at someone’s home rather than a hotel which is a nice change. If I could make any recommendations it would be have a bar fridge in room so guests can keep own drinks and food fresh, instructions for the shower would be nice, took us forever to figure it out not being from IS. A late night guest who checked in basically stripped the snack/breakfast bar so we had nothing to choose from in the morning. Very rude behaviour but not the fault of the hotel, the range was amazing, I guess you have to grab what you want when arriving so you don’t get nothing in the morning.

Summary: We actually visit family which is 100 miles round trip and we choose to stay at Roots retreat. I’m not much for the long drive everyday we are visiting the area k but these people make it worth it every visit. You can’t ask for a cozy, more comfortable and homy place than Roots Retreat. This place is as clean as I’ve ever seen and we couldn’t ask for anymore than what was given to us. These people go above and beyond to make your stay easy and comfortable and checking in is at your fingertips and no dealing with lines or rude employees. This is the place to stay if ever around Seymour, Tx.
