Positive: First of all, this is a truly lovely and cozy place. It's located on a quiet little street lined with small houses — they reminded me a bit of hanok streets, though not as old. Despite the traditional look, both the street and the house itself are well-maintained and clean. Inside, the furniture is new, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. I’d definitely recommend this place as a unique and authentic experience in Seoul. My friends and I were completely satisfied with our 10-day stay, and I’d like to add some clarifications based on other reviews we read before booking. The house is just a 3–5 minute walk from Daebang Metro Station. The railroad runs nearby — around 35 meters from the house — so you can hear the trains when the metro is operating. However, the sound is very soft, more like a distant wind, and none of us were disturbed by it. That said, the host thoughtfully provides a full box of earplugs just in case. We also didn’t experience any odor from the sink. As the host explained in the instructions, we simply kept the lid closed when not in use — it worked perfectly. Another kind touch: the host left us some instant noodles and coffee packs, which we really appreciated. Thank you so much — it was an unforgettable stay! 💖
Negative: The only thing we missed a bit was a more detailed explanation about trash sorting. Korea has a more complex recycling system compared to our country, which is definitely a good thing, but it was a bit confusing for us as visitors 😅

Positive: I loved the comfortable and cozy vibe, the style of furnishing, and the location (very near a train station and bus stop, has both a cafe and a CU nearby).
Negative: There was occasionally an odd smell from the drain but from my understanding thats pretty normal around there especially in older houses.

Positive: There seem to be a smell coming up from the kitchen sink probably because no u-bend in the drainage. Not unbearable, and can be resolved by running the tap for a minute, but definitely noticeable. Otherwise very good stay, good value for money and plenty amenities in walking distance

Positive: The house itself was very spacious and comfy, great if you want to stay with some friends or even family. Even though the neighbourhood might seem a bit scary at night, as soon as you enter the house you feel an immediate sense of warmth and cozyness! And the interiors are also very modern and nice! The house is very near to the Daebang subway station and transportation was quite comfortable. Keep in mind that the closest convenience store is about a 4 minute walk from the home. Overall it was a very great stay and I loved this house! There was an occasional sewer smell but it was understandable since the house was built is an old neighbourhood. I also really appreciated the kindness of the owner. I would really recommend this house, especially if you are traveling in a group and would like to stay in a less touristic and more quiet area of Seoul.

Positive: Everything! Our flight is quite late and we requested for a late check out, and the owner allowed us to do so for free. We appreciate it and we really enjoyed our stay. Definitely will come back again here. It stated has 3 rooms, but they only have 2 rooms ready. Also,I’d suggest you to prepare water dispenser/water bottles for complimentary since you have a big fridge. Nevertheless, we’re so happy with our stay! Thank you again.
Negative: The smell came from the toilet, but doable. They provided us maxim coffee, but no complimentary water :(
