Enjoy a relaxing escape on Round Lake. Looking for a cottage with beautiful sunsets and a sandy bottom lake? Then come and visit us!
3 bedroom cottage. Recently renovated kitchen. Wall to wall windows facing the lake to enjoy those beautiful sunsets. Large patio off the walk-out doors and even larger patio right on the water. Full size tennis court to either play tennis or let the kids ride their bikes around on, play road hockey or basketball.
Included in the price is kayaks, canoe, tennis rackets and balls, TV with PlayStation3/DVD player and propane BBQ.
Master bedroom has a queen size bed, and the other two rooms have a double bed with single bunk above. Lots of room to sleep!
This cottage is only 2 hours from Toronto. Only 10 mins away from Havelock where there is a Tim Horton's and a 24 hour grocery store

Summary: A really cute cottage, where our family with teenagers, enjoyed a getaway. We had fun swimming, kayaking, pickle balling and the gorgeous sunsets. We had brought our SUPs but found the water a bit too choppy for us (we are wimps). Thank you to our hosts!

Summary: We had a great family vacation at Round Lake. The cottage is accurately described and has all the essentials plus some extras (we didn’t get round to experimenting with the air fryer!). Unfortunately the water slide and bike had met an untimely end in a storm shortly before we stayed, but the hosts had purchased extra kayaks and the water was great for swimming, to they weren’t missed. Fun day trips in the area too including Petroglyphs and Ferris Provincial parks. On a wetter day we went to Serenity Lane Animal Sanctuary, also highly recommended. Overall this is a great cottage for a family vacation in the area.

Summary: We rented the cottage for a bachelor party, we enjoyed our stay the cottage was exactly how it looked in the pictures with the great view. The address that come up on the vrbo app was a bit misleading we ended up at the wrong cottage to begin but we were able to figure it out but maybe be something to look into making a bit more clear for easier navigation..A big Thankyou to Kim and Darrell for renting is the cottage on such short notice!

Summary: We had another great stay at Round Lake Hideaway. The lake is superb and the sunsets are unreal. We spent each day of our stay soaking it all in on the dock. There are plenty activities, canoeing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Every day of our vacation was perfect.

Summary: We have returned to Round Lake Hideaway multiple times, because we love it. The cottage itself is pretty basic, while accommodating all our needs. The property(and it’s amenities), lake, fire pit and view of the sunset are exceptional and create the perfect place for a family vacation! Would recommend to others.

Summary: My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this cottage for a second time. The lake was clean and easy to walk into. We spent our days on the dock, soaking the sun/lounging in the lake and our evenings around the fire. Thank you for allowing us to make some memories! We will be back next year!

Summary: This spot on Round Lake is a hidden gem. The cottage has everything you need while staying for a weekend or a week. The property is it’s real claim to fame. Featuring a clean clear, sandy bottom lake. Amazing dock space to enjoy the most fantastic sunsets. Toys, games and activities galore. The host is fantastic and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend to others.
