Hondarribia is a village by the ocean, and back to the Pyrenees. It is a medieval village with a beautiful and singular anchitécture, very well known in the south of France and throughout Spain. One of the best preserved treasures in the Basque Country. Its magnificent medieval quarter of the 13th century, its historic center, the famous balconies painted in different colors of fishermen's houses, its beach. 1 km from San Sebastian airport. 4km away. you have the large Hendaye beach. 20 kms away. you find beautiful San Sebastian. 5 kms away. like the Corniche and the incomparable French Basque coast. Sare and Zugarramurdi 30 minutes by car, dream villages of the French countryside. 24 kms away. from Biarritz and its airport.
Region renowned for its beauty, its gastronomy, and the sympathy of the people. A corner of the planet spoiled by the gods.
I suggest the best location on Bidasoa Bay, composed by Hendaye-Irun-Hondarribia. The panoramic is breathtaking, the view of the bay is unique in the region.
Right in front of my house, you find the steps that go down to the beach, the only access on the privileged route du Phare. In 5 minutes you will have your feet on the sand.
The orientation is north-east but you have sun in the terrace until 15:00 and by its exposure and its large windows the light floods the whole house. From the bed in the master bedroom you can enjoy a spectacular sunrise. The house is well equipped, with everything you need. Home-Cinema projector, Netflix, surfboards, longboards, and the rest of my life.
On arrival you will have a folder or welcome-book where you will find good tourist and gastronomic addresses. You will not be alone!
