Positive: I had an absolutely amazing stay at this accommodation. The atmosphere was welcoming from the very first moment, and I met incredibly kind and interesting fellow guests who made the experience even more memorable. The host, Sultan and the other guys are fantastic — we got along extremely well, had great conversations, and ended up becoming friends. He truly adds something special to the place. Considering the desert conditions, the accommodation was perfect: comfortable, well‑organized, and exactly what you need out there. The location itself is spectacular, and the views are nothing short of breathtaking. You can easily drive there with your own 4x4, and it’s also a great area for taking peaceful solo walks into the dunes. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience in a unique setting. I can fully recommend staying here — it was perfect in every way.

Positive: Sultan was such a great host. Thanks for spending time with us in front of the fireplace, very special moment! The dinner was great! Possibilities to have activities such as sunset drive and quad drive on the sand.
Negative: Not a big deal but the shower was cold and the light in the bathroom wasn't working.

Positive: This camp is very convenient - far enough into the desert that you get the full experience but not so far it takes a long time. The huts are basic but clean. The staff are excellent & so helpful
Negative: If it’s windy, the huts actually move in the wind

Positive: It was a really great experience. The bungalow was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The area is quiet, and I recommend taking a walk on the dunes next to the camp. Make sure to bring warm clothes for the night.

Positive: The host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The dinner was abundant and absolutely delicious. We also joined the sunset tour, which was beautiful and peaceful — a real highlight of the trip. The camp is located in the middle of the desert, far from any roads, making it feel wonderfully quiet and authentic. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Overall, a fantastic stay that we would highly recommend!

Positive: Our stay at Royal Desert Camp was fantastic! The host and staff were wonderful, taking excellent care of all our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset trip and the campfire under the starry night, as well as the delicious Omani Quroos for breakfast. I would love to visit again someday, inshallah!
