Summary: Located just a short walk from the main ferry dock and very close to playa Mann. The roof top views of the town and ocean are incredible. We had a balcony with a hammock facing the ocean. It was a pleasure to get to know the owner, Eduardo. He was extremely welcoming and helpful and made a delicious breakfast.

Summary: The outside of the hotel has an eclectic feel with the tropical florals and outer wall cut outs. The room is spacious and basic, with outer balconies including hammocks . Relax beach vibes and close enough to walk to the shoreline where the crabs and sea lions roam in abundance. Service was quick and complimentary breakfast was good.

Summary: Eduardo at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. He helped us book a tour and gave us recommendations around town. The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean from the top.

Summary: Upon arrival the owner was vocal with us that we got a room rate from Expedia much lower than what he usually charges, making us feel bad. He then gave us a room which had so many problems. The shower gave hot water for only 30 seconds then went cold. We asked the owner about this and we were asked why we needed hot showers anyway? Then during a rain storm a large crack allowed lots of water into the room and flooded the floor. The owner is building new rooms out the back of the property and the loud construction noise didn’t finish until 21:30 one night. I do not understand why the owner is building new rooms when his existing rooms are quickly falling into a state of disrepair! One day we asked about snorkel hire and we were fobbed off to a shop that was almost always closed, so he was not very helpful at all as a host.

Summary: Clean, super friendly staff, great service and the location is perfect. This place has everything, and we even got early breakfast when we had tours that started at 07:00. If you are staying in San Cristobak, this is the place.

Summary: Eduarado was absolutely amazing! As was the rest of the team! Breakfast was delicious, everyone was so kind and welcoming. I unfortunately got sick on our vacation and the team made me tea to help me feel better and would ask my husband how I was doing. They were so caring and lovely!

Summary: Nice stay, excellent location just a block from the pedestrian path which leads to the harborfront. Hot water and a/c worked well, and my bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included, with eggs, fruit, bread, juice and coffee. The dining area is open-air, so insect repellant was a must for me, as I am a bug magnet (san cristobal the buggiest of the three main islands). There is some construction currently under way to expand the property, the work was during reasonable hours and did not disrupt my sleep in any way. The owners are a very friendly couple who advised me of local sights and offered to help book any tours I'd be interested in. Overall, good value and a place I would return to.

Summary: Good location, close to restaurants and the breach but in a quiet and safe area.Very friendly environment. Great and complete breakfast. I highly recommend to stay at the Royal Galapagos.
