Summary: This hotel is a 2* at best. And, this is reflected in the price. Staff try their best under the circumstances. Breakfast is the same everyday and the hot food was served cold. Lots of bread, cakes and pastries on offer. There is an omelette station for hot eggs of choice. Ended up just having the coffee and tea. There was so much noise in the early hours from the night club next door! Revellers made so much noise with motorcycles revving at that time making it impossible to get a full night’s sleep. I slept for 10 solid hours the first night out of that hotel - that goes to show how sleep deprived I was! There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms - not in the room that I in. Reception staff promised to move me to a room with better reception but this did not happen for the week I was there. There are renovation works going on at the hotel on some of the floors. This was not intrusive though the works carried on until 9pm on some days. The rooms are a good size. But the shower was a weapon in its own right!!! The water pressure was too much and some of the nozzles were blocked. Just needed descaling but the technician thought it was ok… This could have been because of the language barrier. Majority of the staff do not speak English. The hotel’s location is very ideal. Close to the beach and the bus terminus is across the road. The staff are amazing: Mr Saad, the manager, Mr Ibrahim, Mr Ali, Mr Hassan, Mrs Aziza who cleaned my room, all made the stay worthwhile.

Summary: The staff R absolutely fantastic polite helpful. Can do with better food for dinner which I’ve had very disappointed with food definitely not worth 180D each adult Could’ve had a better shower as it was not powerful enough if u like ???

Summary: The staff were very helpful. Muhammad (night shift) helped us a lot during our stay. Would recommend. It’s in a good location. Naya club is next door so it can be a bit noisy at night.

Summary: Very pleasant stay, was allocated sea vie room as requested...check was very smooth as hotel wasn't busy. Hotel is looking very dated but has all the facilities n is highly functional. Great choice breakfast n service was extremely good throughout! Def coming here again!

Summary: I was aware of some negative reviews before and after booking but kept my reservation - i am glad I did. The hotel is really good; the staff are friendly, helpful and always have a smile. The facilities are good. The location is excellent for the main beach and shops, cafes, etc. There are some great views of the sea and cliff to be had also from the hotel. Value for money.

Summary: We stayed at the Royal Mirage for 15 nights after our winter in Spain. It is located close to the corniche and to the downtown area for shopping and dining. Our room had an excellent view of the Oufella and the beach. Sunsets were amazing from the large balcony. The staff here is simply amazing for the most part. Mohammed at the breakfast buffet was always happy to see us and always very helpful. Rasheedah from housekeeping took excellent care of our room. Some negatives were the seagulls in and around the pool everyday. They are annoying and leave a real mess on the pool deck. They are trying to control them but so far it seems like a loosing battle. Another issue was ice at the bar. It depends on who is working there whether or not they have ice. At one point they suggested I go outside the hotel and buy a bag of ice. If they don't have an icemaker in the bar I think they probably need one. Overall the hotel is a bit rundown and there are areas that are in need of repair. There seems to be some management problems. I say this as I see many of the workers trying to do there jobs without the proper tools or supplies. They are trying to do a good job without the proper tools. For instance. a hose without a nozzle to clean the pool deck. Tiny brushes to sweep a massive pool deck and patio. etc. etc. Having said this, I would definitely go back to the Royal Mirage. The staff, the food, and the location are really great.
