Negative: Placed as 5 start to get attention- but RECIEVES 1 star in reality! I would not recommend staying here! The property is stunning without a doubt. However, the accommodation and reality of what you get when booking is a scam, dodgy, exhausting and disappointing. WHEN SEARCHING THE REVIEWS, SORT THE ORDER IN LOWEST TO HIGH FOR THE REALITY OF WHAT THEY ARE OFFEREING (WISH WE KNEW TO DO THAT BEFORE STAYING HERE) We booked this accommodation through Booking.com based on the listing, which represented a private, peaceful and secluded rainforest retreat. Unfortunately, our experience was very different from what had been advertised. When it says ‘entire vacation home’ and ’outdoor swimming pool’ and ‘the entire place is yours’ and ‘Guests can enjoy a swimming pool with a view’ and ‘Note that the guest area is fully self-contained and there are no shared facilities’- THIS IS NOT CORRECT…at all! After booking you are then downgraded and sent a barrage of emails and voice messages where in the fine print states exactly what you are getting- exact email you will be sent- THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE AREAS WHICH ARE 1. THE MAIN HOUSE AREA AND 2. THE GUEST AREA. THESE WILL BE THE EXACT BUILDINGS YOU WILL OCCUPY AS PER OUR PHONE CONVERSATION. HERE ARE THE EXACT DESCRIPTIONS.- they are not the exact building you occupy as once relocated away from the bath to the ‘pod’ you also do not access the main house. GUEST AREA POD/ BUILDING and roughly 5 external sandstone paving steps away is your DOUBLE SHOWER POD/BUILDING (as per our labelled website photos) These are not the ones with the bath and the grand piano Before we arrived, we were asked to change our Booking.com booking dates and were then presented with terms that differed from those shown in the original listing on arrival. By that stage we had already travelled and had no realistic alternative accommodation, leaving us with little choice but to proceed while were standing there with luggage in our hands.
