Summary: Manage your expectations. These are cabins, it’s a short season and the nightly rate is up to 50% less than most. It’s not a 4 or 5 star hotel. But it’s fun, great for the kids, you can have a campfire at your cabin or there is a main area. Good WiFi and you can cook your own food.

Summary: Owners are very nice, the cabin was well equipped with a kitchen. Shower was hot. Quiet at night.

Summary: The first cabin was dirty and had all faucets leaking. There were old cobwebs and the pull out bed was unacceptable with a lot of dust and old dirt inside bed. The second cabin was a bit better. Still had dripping faucets, had to ask for an extension cord because you could not run the microwave or toaster oven without one. A definite lack of outlets. The front porch step is dangerous. Staff was helpful but we had to ask for a lot of necessities to make our stay okay for what was charged. If not much is included, then staff needs to communicate this before booking.

Summary: Selected these rustic chalets with kitchenette due to its proximity to Banff and for being more affordable than most other hotels around the region. We enjoyed the rustic feel of this chalet. Comfortable bed. Good kitchenette with full stove. Small shower but good water pressure. Quite clean overall and very friendly helpful staff

Summary: Definitely a no frills stay on my motorcycle trek. The cabin was clean and comfortable but I must say that some yard work would have made a great deal of difference in first impressions. The grounds need mowing and looked really unkept. Luckily the cabin was far more card for. Comfy bed and ice at the office

Summary: Okayish…at best. It works for a place to stay at nearly half the price of most other places in the Banff and Canmore area. Saying this place is rustic, it putting it pretty nicely. Expect cobwebs and ants crawling around your cabin. The smell of our cabin was reminiscent of ashtray and grandma’s basement. Mattresses were terrible, but better than the ground. Shower was small and dingy. You get the idea. Just don’t expect much, and you’ll be great!

Summary: The cabins are small and offer virtually no amenities. We could barely move in the bathroom. The shower was so tiny, that even I, at only 5 feet tall could barely move in it. My husband, 6 foot tall and about 185 pounds couldn't move at all in it. We expected more for the price we paid. At the very least a few amenities in room and on grounds. The grounds were a terrible mess with junked cars parked near the entrance and office. Awful and would not recommend.

Summary: Absolute bare bones of items in the chalet. Ex. only 2 towels for 2 adults. Ran out of hot water, and it wasn't a long shower. I was able to wash my hair and that's it. I love these cabins are they are so cute and cozy. For the increased summer time prices, a little bit more attention to amenities would have been appreciated.
