Summary: its definately roomy. everyone had a room or bed. Very remote. Had troubles finding it. Thank you to Misty for guiding us in. May have to do that again in June. Thank you for your help. Bunch of girls are coming in June. Yes a lot of I want to call them lady bugs, but know they arent.

Summary: I loved The Lodge. The scenery was beautiful. My family was blown away. I have a few things that did bother me. It was not clean to the measure I was expecting. Last people trash outside in the barrel, fireplace not cleaned out, cobwebs everywhere, bugs in the windows, toilets with nasty rings in them, not vacuumed or floors cleaned just hot and miss. There was bo dishwasher detergent and 2 garbage bags. Other than the cleanliness we all absolutely loved it.

Summary: Although a 30 minute drive to the golf course, it was roomy and great to accomadate 8 of us. Lots of room and a very peaceful location. The house is old and could use some updating, but very satisfactory. We did not know there was no wifi until after we made the reservation. In the end, not a big deal.

Summary: This property was perfect for our family gathering of 7 adults and 6 children. The main upstairs kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, separated from the dining area with a bar countertop. The two tables (one in the kitchen and one in the dining area) and bar seating providing plenty of space for everyone to enjoy meals together, with a screened-in porch providing scenic views and an additional area for gathering that was visible from inside (perfect for keeping an eye on the kids). The living room provided comfortable seating and included a library of books for all interests and ages. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms so that each of our four family units could have their own private area. There was lots of room for storage and plenty of spaces to spread out for visiting. Two refrigerators (one upstairs, one down) and plenty of sinks (2 in each kitchen) made food storage and prep easy. The large outdoor yard provided a great space for outdoor games and activities. Plenty of comfortable porch seating. Be advised, the admonition about no Wifi or cable TV is correct. Most of our phones had no service; there was only limited Verizon service (1 1/2 bars max, slow). The cabin is located in a very scenic area with lots of outdoor activities to enjoy -- if you truly want to get away to enjoy your family and the outdoors, this is a perfect place to do it!

Summary: This was a perfect place for our family to gather and enjoy time with each other. The history and unique qualities of the conservancy made it very interesting. We were there during extreme July heat, and we still found plenty to do indoors nd outdoors. More care could be taken to the outside of the property, especially in the backyard, and to the needed repairs of the dishwasher, but overall the place was nice. We would recommend adding a ping pong table to the basement, due to the perfect space.

Summary: My wife and I had our 40th wedding anniversary there along with our adult children and 5 grand children (15 people). It was very comfortable and a wonderful place to spend a lot of time outdoors. It has six bedrooms and plenty of space for all to enjoy! We are considering making this an annual celebration!
