The large heated swimming pool is 11m by 6m and 1.7m deep across the entire pool. It has large built in corner steps for easy access which provide a nice space to sit and keep cool half submerged on a hot day. There are wonderful views across the valley from the pool. Beside the pool is an open planned barn originally used for the prune oven and drying tobacco. This has recently been transformed into a stunning out door living space.
It has been kitted out with everything you will need to while away the days. There is a lounge area, dining room table and a kitchenette. There is also a shower unit with a sink and toilet. There is a secret snug area along with a play zone of ping pong and table foot.
The open planned living space is an amazing light room with an impressive stone fireplace incasing a very effective wood burning stove for the cooler seasons. In fact the whole house is fully heated which makes it ideal for winter lets. There are three very large sofas surrounding the fireplace making a comfortable environment to retire to.
On the other side of the living space there is an impressive large dining room table which seats 10 very comfortably.
From the dining area is a lovely modern kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a large family size fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, large electric oven with a 5 ring gas hob.
Through an old wooden barn door off the living space there is an additional living room with a wood burning stove and a smart TV so you can connect to your Netflix or Amazon account. There are also French freeview channels. This is an elegant room to be enjoyed, where you can also find some peace and quiet from the rest of the household. This room has a door leading onto the garden.
There is a downstairs toilet with a large shower which is off the Utility area with a washing machine, ironing board and a second fridge/freezer.
On the opposite side of the entrance hall there is a door leading towards the downstairs sleeping accommodation.
The first bedroom is a lovely double room with a king size bed and an en-suite shower room. The room is beautifully decorated with a charming traditional door leading on to the South facing terrace and garden.
The second room is an enchanting twin bedroom also with a door leading to the garden.
The third room is another charming twin bedroom with views facing the North.
Both twin rooms are served by a family bathroom and a separate toilet.
From the opened planned living space in the hall there is wooden staircase taking you up to the landing with a lovely open view of the landscape through the glazed barn doors.
From this hallway you are led onto the mezzanine above the open planned living space. This is a fantastic space to be enjoyed by all the family. There is a comfortable sofa placed in front of a large flat screen TV with a dvd player. There is also wifi internet access through out the house.
Back through the landing you approach the principal sleeping accommodation. From a small hall way you enter the Master bedroom.
This is a stunning bedroom with a Superking bed with a very comfortable mattress. There is a roof light above the bed for a romantic evening of star gazing. The bedroom has air conditioning for the hot sultry Summer nights. There is an en-suite bathroom with a lovely deep bath and a separate built in shower and heated towel rail.
Across the hall is a door leading to a spacious double bedroom with a luxurious Superking bed.
This wonderful airy bedroom has lovely exposed beams and a large free standing French armoire.
This bedroom also has air conditioning for the hot Summer nights. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail.
