Positive: Easy check in and check out. Right across from the Mississippi State Campus. Grab and go breakfast was great.
Negative: The room was not well cleaned. The furniture was old. There were stains on the pullout mattress and the pillow stains were disgusting.
Summary: Great location to campus, cleanliness of space needs improved.

Positive: Breakfast was good. Had plenty options available. I felt very safe and comfortable and it is very close to restaurants. Outside presentation was very nice and clean, as was the inside. The rooms did have stains in the chairs and the carpet turned my socks black after a few minutes but that’s to be expected with as many people that come in and out. The room was spacious and the air worked really well. If you like a firm feeling mattress, this is for you! Check in/out was fast and staff was very friendly. Price wise, it is a great choice if you’re not wanting to spend an arm and a leg but want something better than the cheapest. They do hold out an $100 fee in addition to your room total upon check in, which will be credited back to you at checkout after they check the room for damages. All in all this is the place to stay in Starkville. Very nice and safe area for you and your family to enjoy.
Negative: Only thing I didn’t like was on the day I was supposed to check out, I was woken up to a housekeeper coming in my room to clean. I’m sure she probably knocked but I was asleep and didn’t hear it. I did have the “do not disturb” sign on the door. This was around 9am and check out is not until 11. Thankfully, someone needed assistance before she made complete entrance so she walked off leaving the door cracked. I quickly got up and bolted the door. Everything worked out and in her defense, she didn’t know I was in there., but it would be more helpful and save from walking in on someone in the future, to maybe check with front desk to see if guests have checked out before coming in? Things happen and this in no way will prevent me from coming back.
