3 Bedroom Cabin in Stokes, Germanton

Rustic cabin brand new remodel with worlds of character. From the old hand hewn timber to the wooded surroundings outside you will see nature at its finest.
The cabin was hand built back in the 70's and has been recently upgraded to the newest amenities for our guests. From the red tin roof to the hot tub on the back porch we promise you will leave feeling refreshed and better than when you arrived.
Front porch has 2 rocking chairs for your morning coffee or evening sunset views.
The master bedroom is on the main level. It has a queen bed with bedding provided. A ceiling fan is included.
Master bathroom is right off the bedroom with a over large jetted stand alone soaking tub. The shower is a walk in fully tiled shower with a large shower head and removeable handle. Toilet is included. Towels are included.
Living room has 2 recliners with a large leather reclining couch. Gas logs and TV. Board games are included. A ceiling fan is included. TV is a smart TV with internet so you can access your personal channels or You Tube.
Kitchen is equipped with a glass cooktop, full size oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and large kitchen sink.
The kitchen has cooking pots, cookie sheet, muffin tin, small and large frying pans with silverware, plates, cups, bowls, and utensils to cook with. We have a single serving Keurig for your morning coffee.
Laundry room in kitchen has a full size stackable washer and dryer.
Upstairs guest room has a wrought iron queen bed with linens. A ceiling fan is included. There is also a closet.
Upstairs kids room has 2 bunk beds twin over twin with linens. A ceiling fan is included. There is also a closet. Multi cade for entertainment for kids and adults in the room. Stool to sit is provided.
Upstairs bathroom has a tub shower combo with large hand held shower head. 2 sinks with plenty of space to get ready in the mornings. and a toilet. Soft close cabinet doors. Towels are included.
On the back porch is a 4 person hot tub. Stays 100 degrees year round with cover provided. Extra towels are provided by the back door.
Security cameras are only on the outside for protection of the property.
We provide 2 full rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and one full roll of paper towels in the kitchen.

Old Salem is just minutes away.
Downtown Winston Salem is just minutes away.
There are lots of winery's within a 30 min or less drive
Mt Airy (home of the Andy Griffith show) is 30 mins away
Blue Ridge Parkway is about 45 mins away.
Hanging Rock Park for hiking many trails is 45 mins away
Pilot Mtn State Park for hiking and scenery is 30 mins away
Greensboro is about 30 mins away.
There is a keyed lock to enter the cabin. On the day of after 2 pm we will be happy to send the code. You enter the code then press the unlock button. From inside there is a deadbolt to lock for your safety. When you leave hit the lock button again. (no entering numbers) Any questions you can contact the host.

Summary: The cabin is just as described and shown in the photos. It is has plenty of space and comfortable furniture. We had a couple questions during our stay and the host was very responsive. We look forward to booking this cabin again.

Summary: Pictures do not do this cabin justice. Cabin is beautiful and feels very secluded when you are on the property. It is also on a very peaceful and quiet st. We felt very safe here. The hot tub was such a nice bonus to our stay. It felt lovely to relax and be surrounded by the trees and end the day enjoying the hot tub. Front porch was a great place to start the morning with coffee, even the desk in the kitchen overlooking the side porch. Everything was very well thought out and decorated beautifully. Lots of cozy areas to gather and enjoy in the house, and the kids loved the bunk room. The host was very responsive and even accomodated a specific request for one of our children. I could go on and on with how wonderful this property is! A few things that will not prevent us from staying here again but could def enhance our next stay, is having a big pot for cooking in the kitchen. We tried to make spaghetti but couldn't boil our noodles. Also, we were here on a very hot wkd. I dont think there is a seperate zone for the HVAC system but it was cold downstairs and hot upstairs. But the ceiling fans upstairs made it bearable. Having an iron in the property would be great too, we had clothes in bags that got super wrinkled and we had a special event to go to, but I could see why hosts may want to pass on havione one he property for perhaps safety reasons? Again, nothing that will prevent us from booking again, but would def enhance the stay for the next time!

Summary: House was beautiful. Lovely country setting. Everything we needed for the family. We had 3 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room for everyone. Regina answered all my questions very promptly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the Winston / Salem area. A+

Summary: We came to North Carolina for our son’s 18th birthday. This cabin was the perfect location. He wanted to be just far outside of the “city”. The property was just as it was described and the pictures did not do it justice. The property was beautiful. We are from Colorado and do not have the opportunity to see lighting bugs so we loved that and the hot tub was a wonderful way to end the evenings

Summary: This is our second stay at The Cabin. We absolutely love it. The decor inside is wonderful. The view out of every window is great and the hot tub is very nice. Appliances are new and the AC is just right. Jacuzzi tub in master bath is cozy. I could go on and on. Let me explain my scoring. with a scale of 1 to 5 my thought is 5 is perfect and as a Christian the only thing perfect is our Lord. so that's why 4 and not 5 stars, but don't be deceived this cabin is a wonderful and Regina is a great host. She is very accommodating, helped me with some special preparations and had items inside waiting for us when we arrived on our first visit. We will definitely be back.

Summary: We were all thoroughly impressed with the property! Our family had a wonderful stay during our weekend away for our daughters college graduation. It was super clean, beautiful and peaceful. Regina was an excellent host. Although it sleeps 8, there was not seating for 8 in any of the spaces, but we’re kinda used to that being a big family! ;) We will definitely keep this property on our “favorites” list and hope to return sooner than later! ♥️

Summary: The updates in the cabin are beautiful! The craftmanship, from the wood floors to the sliding doors, makes this cabin a delightful place to visit! Beds are comfortable. Hot tub is a great addition for relaxing! Being surrounded by trees and no houses adds to the serenity of being here. Regina is helpful & responsive with any questions!

Summary: This place is fantastic!!! When you drive up, you instantly fall in love. It is so cute!! We loved the decor inside just as much. There was was just two of us but plenty of room for 2 families of four. The place was very clean and looked even better than pictured. It was quiet and rural yet close to restaurants and musueum. We had the perfect weekend. Dont miss this great find.
