Summary: Cozy spot. Nicely decorated. Nice and clean. A little chilly in the bedroom away from the main room away from the furnace, but still slept pretty comfortably on on cold rainy fall weekend. Especially after getting a fire going! Very much enjoyed our stay!

Summary: For a small family, Tranquilo was an absolutely perfect place. It was close to everything (the beach, downtown Pentwater, and other activities). My daughter loved it so much she didn't want to leave Sunday morning. Thank you very much Jody and Jim for providing this (I'll say it again) prefect place to stay in Pentwater MI.

Summary: The town is absolutely adorable. lots of little shops , beautiful beach access in town with play area . Easy to get to Silver Lake dunes if you’re up for an adventure.

Summary: We booked a last minute stay for the 4th of July weekend & loved it so much we stayed an extra day! We enjoyed the breezy nights & lazy mornings sleeping on the porch waking up to the sounds of birds rather than an alarm. We ate out a couple of times & made the rest of our meals at "home"; everything we needed was there for us. We spent the days mostly at the beach inside Mears State Park (5 mins away!) but we also took the time to walk the towns of Pentwater & nearby Ludington. The people in town were so friendly and welcoming everywhere we went & the shops in town were great also. We made sure to make our way back to the beach for the sunset & the town fireworks show one night. Post sunset was the perfect time for an ice cream stop or a cocktail at one of the local restaurants or a quick stop in the wine shop for some drinks to take home. When we came back to the cabin we relaxed by the fire, watching the fireflies glow all around us, and on the one rainy night we played some games. Jody & Jim were wonderful hosts & made everything so comfortable & homey for us, it was hard to leave and come back to reality. We fell in love with this rustic little cabin & Pentwater. We will definitely be back!
