Nothing compares to this for a great family holiday! One of only a few cottages right on the lake with your own private, sandy beach. Safe for children swimming and convenient for water skiing if you have a boat.
This property is ideal for the family or couple that wants to enjoy Osoyoos' outdoor life! Warm water, shallow, safe and sandy beach with access to a raft is perfect for children. Buoy for a boat as well.
This rustic cottage has a fantastic location and a private 100-ft. beach front ideal for surf boarding, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and sun tanning. Large lawn area for bocce, badminton or lounging. Barbeque, picnic table, and outside table on lawn for dining. Includes fridge, microwave, TV, wifi, air conditioner, fans, complete supply of cooking utensils, glasses, plates, cutlery and all that is required to feel at home.
Main bedroom has one double/queen bed while living room has 2 hide-a-beds. Linen is included (sheets & comforters) but if you prefer your own bring with you.
Weekly rental is preferred and will receive priority in booking, Sunday to Sunday.
Part of an older duplex located on Osoyoos Lake, this one side is available for rent.
Enjoy a safe, sandy beach for children, close to Haynes Point boat launch, walking distance to town and a 3 minute drive to Osoyoos Golf course.
The unit has one bedroom (Double sized bed) and 2 hide-a-beds in the living room. Depending on sleeping arrangements it can accommodate up to 6 (2 per bed) but ideal for 4 people.

Summary: I have camped in Osoyoos since a child and knew this area well. Altho the inside of the house needs some fixing (no screen on patio door to let the air in etc), the outside is what we came for and this property didn't disappoint. The backyard was relaxing and our dog loved playing in the yard and the water, as did we. We came to relax and did just that. We thoroughly enjoyed the setting and the area was quiet and will be back.

Summary: The beach is great, quiet right on lake. It's an older somewhat delapidated1/2 duplex but all in all, fair pricing for the accomodation. Things that could be improved are fixing/replacing the microwave and providing a toaster. Overall a good experience and host was very responsive.

Summary: The property is located right in the beach with beautiful views. Large lawn area. Great location, close to town. The unit was clean and all amenities functioned. The furniture was a bit dated, but kind of fit with the cottage vibe. A nice experience overall.

Summary: The reason you rent this property is for the backyard...beautiful soft grass and a little sandy beach that leads right into the warm lake. I've been in Osoyoos every summer for the past 48 years, and this might be the nicest spot we've been at. This alone makes this VRBO worth it! The house AC works which is the most important thing. The cleanliness needs a bit of work, and I would recommend to bring some of your own kitchen items (pans, utensils, cups etc.) The bed is only a full/double, so I brought my own foamie, and have no complaints about the sleeping situation. The bathroom is a full bath and the living room has a nice small TV that we hooked our Apple TV to with no problem. Overall, this review is meant to be positive and not a complaint at all...just pointing out a few things that could be improved. However, I will definitely book this place again. So glad they allow dogs - perfect backyard set up for our big dog!

Summary: Location, Location, Location - Grass lawn leading into the lake is where our group and our dog spent most of our time; reading and drinking wine in the sun, listening to the waves lap the shores and staring out at the vista across the lake. Bedding and sleeping situation needs improvement, and would suggest folks bring air mattresses and own bedding. Property says 6 could sleep but realistically this is at most 4. Other than that, everything in the kitchen worked great, BBQ & modern TV too. A/C worked and cooled main room down, ceiling fans also worked to keep it cool. Met the property owners who reside in the other half of duplex and were very nice and accommodating. Looking forward to coming back!

Summary: Great location, property old, needs repair and good cleaning. Could not use garage for storage as was communicated my owner. Patio door not working well. Missing basics like toilet paper , bowls, towels, tea towels.

Summary: The location was perfect. Building is older but in great shape. Private access to the beach and dock. Amazing views!! The property manager checked in to make sure we were good. Scott and Leah were super helpful and friendly. We will absolutely be booking this place every year going forward!!

Summary: Just a fantastic vacation. Scott and his wife are absolutely awesome as hosts. Really nice people. The location is amazing. Nice backyard, private beach area, a dock for swimming and buoys if you have a boat. We literally walked out to our boat everyday. The buoys are about 40’ off the shore in waist deep warm water and sandy bottom. Saw about a dozen 18” fat carp in 3’ of water off the beach. The home is older but very comfortable with everything you need and the air conditioning works great. Highly recommend this home. We’ve already spoken to Scott about booking for next summer.
