Awesome soul awakening lakeside Wilderness Adventure.
Private ranch style cabin with full amenities, sleeps two adults. Living room with single bed, TV, woodstove and one bedroom with queen size bed and full wrap around deck with lovely view of a large lawn, lake and spectacular sunsets. Included in the rental is access to the lake by a boat road. The bottom is rocky. Fire pit when drought conditions are not a threat. Canoe, paddles and life jackets available on Beaver Moutain lake only. Wild life is all around you!
Located in the Rangeley Lakes area, 6 miles from the quaint village of Rangeley with excellent restaurant options, movie theater, bowling alley, shops, grocery store and post office. Also close by is the Appalachain Trail, Cascade and Small's Falls waterfalls, Saddleback Mountain, fantastic hiking trails, fishing, and sight seeing of abundant wildlife.

Summary: Although we didn’t have a great time in Rangeley due to half of the shops being closed down, we did enjoy our stay at this little cabin. We got to go out in the water and enjoy the beautiful sights. The cabin even has TV which surprised me with it being in the middle of a dead zone so my husband and I put on TV and played a few games of Go Fish. I would recommend staying here

Summary: Very disappointed that we were not told about all the do and don’t. We would have never rented this cabin if we were told about mice, bugs in house when you turn on lights, the toilet and cleaning the shower drain. I was told there was a fan - did not imagine it was such a small and useless fan which could not cool the cabin. We slept there the night we arrive since it was 5 hours from our home, and checked out by 7 am. After speaking with the property manager and VRBO I was refunded for the other nights we had booked.

Summary: This was exactly what we were hoping for when it comes to a vacation. A Maine camp on a lake and nobody around. The camp was warm and inviting. Perfect! Rangeley is a beautiful spot if you you want peace and relaxation. Restaurants, grocery stores, parks and Small Falls are a stones throw away. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. We will be back. If you are looking for an authentic Maine camp, this is the place.
